Top 55 DTs from 2014- Aaron Donald #1

Our three DTs cracked the top 30 with Brockers at 29. Fairley at 15, and Donald at 1. They gave Donald and Suh the same number grade, so it was like a 1a and 1b. Of course, people lost their minds in the comments section over this, but Donald had at least 100 less snaps than Suh and McCoy and Dareus both logged over 1000 snaps compared to Donald's 707. Crazy considering the numbers Donald put up.

Aaron Donald has it all. Strength, speed, quickness, hand technique, and he's only a rookie. He is also a humble, smart, respectful kid unlike some of the big-mouth braggers and talkers AKA Johnny Manziel. He might be the best player on the Rams right now. Can't wait to see how his second year unfolds.

You could have McCoy, Donald and Suh in any order and I don't think you'd be wrong.

That's actually pretty good having 3 of the top 30 on the same line. Having 2 inside the top 15 is excellent. Especially when you consider how much rotation goes on within our DL.

Langford came in at 35. He's listed as a Colt which is why he might have been missed by people.

Kendall Langford has the lateral quickness to make plays along the line of scrimmage and shoot gaps to get to the backfield. Langford does not have exceptional strength at tackle, but he can still use his length and strength to redirect opposing blockers. However, at times, Langford was unable to get into the Rams' deep rotation of defensive linemen.

With all-world defensive tackle Aaron Donald taking reps from Langford this season, Langford's production and playing time diminished in 2014. Langford is agile at tackle and able to get his arms extended to keep linemen from getting into his body but still recorded only one sack in 2014.

In 2015 Langford will look to get more playing time by making the move to defensive end in the Colts' 3-4 defense. In his seven NFL seasons, Langford has proved he can be a solid starter on the line and will look to re-establish his role with the Colts.

There ya go.. and I don't believe its a good ranking...especially considering the fact that he didn't even start the year, and getting like 9 sacks as a DT is phenomenal. I don't know what Suh got but he should be around the same ranking.

Totally agree, he didn't even start and his stats were better than almost everyone.
I hope this year he destroys everyone and this isn't even a debate.
