Tony Gonzalez: Matt Ryan is excellent, but not elite

Matt Ryan is not at the P Manning, Brees, Brady, and Rogers level.

By that standard; he's not elite.

But who cares? He's damn good and capable of winning a SB.

If Wilson can play like he did down the stretch, and win, many others can. It's a team sport.

All damn day this. All 32 teams would take him if they needed a QB. This whole "elite QB driven league" shit is really ruining the perception of good players being maligned b/c they aren't superstars.

Honestly I rate Matt Ryan slightly above Sam Bradford right now. I agree with Gonzalez, he's a great QB.. but not elite at this point.
