Losing to the heavily injured 49ers TWICE was unacceptable.
Losing to the Bills on a BS pass interference call was painful.
Dominating the Dolphins offense and still somehow managing to beat ourselves was embarrassing.
This has been a great year overall - honestly. It hasn't been the surprise that the media wanted to sell - McVay and Snead had a plan, made good moves (players and personnel), and have largely executed it well.
But this is where I draw the line. I want to beat the Patriots so badly. I hate them for EVERYTHING that they are, and for the sour grapes of losing to them in two of the biggest games of my life. I hate the cheating. I hate the attitude. I hate the ridiculous benefits their ridiculous entitled owner received when he pretty clearly should have been busted for taking advantage of sex trafficking.
But, trying to stay on topic, the Rams NEED this win if they are to be taken seriously. They need to show their offense can't be stopped by just a good plan. They need to show they can't be out-coached by 'veteran' coaches. They have to show they can win more than a game or two in a row. They need these things if they are to be taken seriously on a national stage, and they need this if I'm going to throw my heart into this all the way again.
So. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to win this fucking game.
Go Rams!
