Williams was probably the best TE the Rams had ever had until Higbee.
Conwell was dealt unfortunate luck with the Rams. Drafted in the dark days and hurt during the peak GSOT
I'd say Pete Holohan was the best TE ive seen as a Ram and we didnt even see him at his best

I believe he will be there but I don’t think the Rams want to give up that kinda capital to move into the 2nd.
…might as well grab him at #26 if he’s their guy. He won’t be there at #90.
Trading out of 26 to 39-45 range.I’d be up for trying to get 4 picks inside there & 101.

Saw that Chris Shula interview with Chris Long.Shula said Zach Thomas was his IDLE growing up.Him & Jason Taylor were GREAT DOLPHINS!!

I also like that Oklahoma LBer & UCLA ILBer.Hard call to see were there’s value ? The Rams have needs,Shula talked about Taylor Rapp playing IL(DB) in the Superbowl. The Rams need a speed guy that can cover the middle of the field & make tackles.
Q. Lake is a FA.
Kyren is a FA as well & The Rams could use a power type RB.I like having a stable of RB’s.
Back to MASON TAYLOR- Les Snead I’m sure has a draft value on him. Just dot know we’re the striking range is ?
As I say IMO he will be The BEST TE in 2025.He just turned 21 years old in April (March). 6’4 255 & will only get better.Dude is like a machine.Go look at his PRO DAY(The combine). You’ll see how straight across he didn’t WR/TE catch drill. Seriously impressive!!

I don’t know his 40 time, but in the open field he looks like a WR.He understands the BLOCKING concepts, & a student of the game.
He reminds himself of George Kittle,SO to get a player like that would be GREAT. Plus with The Rams he could get mentored by Tyler Higbee.

Again, the only thing that's almost unanimous on the board is the desire to trade down.

Really hope we find a partner.

After not spending as much time as would have liked but a little more on the TE targets in this draft - including Loveland and Warren - I think I've come to the conclusion that we should just let it ride. I don't think either are worth trading up for but would love it if they make it to us, doubt they do. I think there will be some good tight ends available that aren't so crazy far off from those guys at the end of the day.

All I know if that I want to come away with a TE in this draft who legitimately shows they could become a Y TE eventually but would also be happy with a H-back type too.

And ultimately, there's just a lot of guys to like in this draft, I can't think of one guy right now who'd I'd be disappointed in us drafting (maybe if we overpaid what I think they're worth in draft capital).

What a great place to be where need and opportunity meet.
