I like the kid a lot - he's just very raw. Kinda reminds me of where Brian Quick was when he came out - athletically gifted, just gonna take some time to learn the offense, the pro game, and other little nuances for the position.

I'd hope he locks down the back up job in a year or 2 - but there was some good in what he showed this preseason, and can see why they drafted him.

I kind of cringed at the performance against the Chiefs. He threw a lot of poor balls, balls that could've gotten Givens/Marquez/etc. killed. Two picks. Drops didn't help him. Didn't see much of a deep ball. That one to Givens stood out; it was well short.

I honestly hope that we never see Mannion play in a regular season game for the next two years. Because that'll mean that Foles is out.

Hoping for the best with him.

I like Cardale Jones but I love Jared Goff. I hope he gets underrated due to his thin frame and lack of an elite arm. He's going to be really good if he has it mentally. Made a throw pretty much every week that a lot of NFL QBs would struggle to make.
Agree with you on Goff. Arm is plenty good enough. Like the ball placement and accuracy. I also like the fact that he isn't surrounded by a bunch of blue chip first round prospects. If we are in the QB market he is the guy I want. I'm off the Hackenberg and Cook bandwagons.
