I bet the field will be in better shape than the Rams home games at the Coliseum. I would be more concerned if it were more wind. Good preparation for Chicago later in the year. I imagine half the team has played in some cold weather before.

Secret No. 6: There are 2 tarps for the field.

There's the snow tarp, the thick one, created to keep moisture out.

There's also a grow tarp that allows the sun in, but keeps the frost out.

The grass at Sports Authority Field is 100 percent Kentucky Blue Grass that grows year round. It's not allowed to go dormant, DeWitt said.

Under the grass is 21 miles of heated pipes to help keep the grass green year round.

Sports Authority Field is one of the few stadium to have a flat playing surface. That's because that underground piping system also has a vacuum system that can drain the field of water during rain and snow storms.
that's an amazing field

I was planning on going to the game. But I just told my girl that it's supposed to be 28 and snow so maybe it's a fireplace and couch game :) Not our strong suit but let's get Gurley and Brown going all day!

Another honest question - Does Denver practice outdoors or indoors? If they move practices indoors when it starts to get cold, they wont have a lot more experience playing in the elements than we do. They will undoubtedly be more used to the elevation but I'm guessing they're not out practicing in the snow.

Serious question here.

Should i start a backup QB instead of Goff?
I’m looking at staying with Jared since my backup is Rivers against the turnover creating Browns defense.

Do we know if Goff has ever heard of snow? Let's face it, most winter storms come from the WEST.

He was in the PAC 12 with 2 Colorado and 2 Washington schools so it’s possible he played in it at Cal.

My wife and I will be flying out from Utah for this game!

Not super excited for the cold and snow.

But I am way pumped to see the Rams live for my third time and my wife's first.

Aw c'mon.

I'm from Cali and live in Florida and I love the cold. Heck, 28 isn't even that cold.

Family was considering moving TO Minnesota and it was about 28 on our last day when we went up to check on housing with some wet snow and other than having a long sleeve shirt and a shell, I was fine. Was outdoors a good part of the day as well.

Now, those -14 degree games... Yeah, not feeling that as much, but 28 just doesn't feel all that cold to me.

The key is to bring a seat cushion. With a foam seat cushion, you don't get direct contact with the cold of the seat...and most people underdress on the bottoms.

How can you be so sure?

I'd love an early snow game , just another challenge to overcome for this team . Show us that the offense can be great in any weather

I’m sure Woods tenure in Buffalo has experienced snow games...I’m not worried... Bring the snow!

Broncos first snow of the year, the Rams first snow of the year.
Free agents constantly moving around.
Sounds pretty even to me.
Except the Rams are a much better team. No matter what the Rams handle it any way it needs to go. Long passing game, short passing game, and grind it out on the ground with Gurley and Brown kind of game. So I'm game!
