I don't always agree with your takes but you bring a little Class to this Forum.

If I had a Nickel for every time someone posts "C'est La Vie", I would have ... A Fucking Nickel!
I mean the French invented mayonnaise and parlay that seems more trash than class. Now trash that's more my posting style!

The film "The Outsiders" is 40 years old. All seven of the actors above (the Greasers) had successful careers.

Just wondering how many of our forum members could name all seven actors ... without cheating of course.
I think getting 4-out-of-7 would be pretty damn good.

For anyone that wants to give it a try, here is a little help ... Carrot Top is not in this picture.
And for incentive, @Loyal has volunteered a small financial prize to anyone that gets all seven.
Oh... I can name them all easily (I'm 55, so it makes sense that I could). Female lead too!

Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, C. Thomas Howell, Matt Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Patrick Swayze, Tom Cruise... and Diane Lane

Your posting is far from trash; and the French also invented Democracy and the Menage A Trois.

By-the-way, as soon as @Loyal can find two willing females, he plans to try the latter.

The ticket prices are so expensive that why are they surprised when season ticket holders sell their seats to recoup some of the costs. The NFL priced me out a long time ago. My wife and I were regulars at Charger games (non-season tickets) but we were slowly priced out of the market.

When no seat standing room only tickets sell for $135 what can you expect? If Kroenke wants more Ram fans maybe he should give us a price break. But that isn't going to happen. So the Rams simply need to build up their own loyal fanbase who won't sell their tickets or only do so to other Ram fans.

Ah, very good, A+...

But can you name the Socs (So-shez)?

Some will know one of 'em.

I got all seven from the jump… not many have memorized as many useless facts as me…

Sort-of famous singer...
One of my wife's top teenage crushes.

Went pre-maturely-bald; and then proceeded to wear a bandana or beret for the rest of his life.

Tragically, I shared a similar fate at a young age but did not choose the same course-of-action. However, to be honest, I do own a fair number of baseball caps.

But, I like wearing baseball caps! That's my story, and I am sticking to it.

Foreign born citizens in LA
36%

Foreign born citizens in Philadelphia 14%

This doesn’t even cover those US citizens who are loyal to a team and migrate to So Cal from the East. So many non football factors involved.

And of course as was mentioned, the Niners have been embedded forever. The Rams return to LA is still a blip on the timeline.

Slamming Rams fans in LA is ignorant.

There's something to be said for it being LA... but when you compare the Rams to the Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers and Kings, it's night and day over the rabidness of the fan base. Rams have a long way to go to rebuild the fan base in LA. LA's capable of insane fandom, Rams just haven't earned it since they've been gone.

It’s up to the older fans in LA to make Ramdom a family thing. To raise your kids as Rams fans, take them to games, watch on tv as a unit etc.

The organization has done everything right so far in just 6 years. Win consistently, build a great stadium etc. It takes time.

Also to state the obvious…Niners, Cowboys, Raiders, Packers, Steelers etc…they have insanely large fan bases. Our base has to be one of the smallest in the league. Deal with it and quit whining about the attendance.

The Cardinals arrived here in 1988. Believe me when I say that it was worse here than in current LA.

I went to those games at Sun Devil stadium. Laughably brutal invasions of non Cardinals fans. They all lived here though. I was one of ‘em attending when the Rams came to town.

Fast forward 30 years and the Cardinals are entrenched (second only to the Suns who’ve been here 55 yrs) and the visiting team invasions are much less of an issue… and the Cardinals haven’t even won games like the Rams have. !!

Slamming Rams fans anywhere is ignorant.
A whole lot of shit was talked about __. _____ Rams fan support and I remember the many claims made about how different it will be once they're back in ___ _______.
I believe LA can handle the expectations that come with being the hometown fans. I dont buy the "too many options" excuse. Team support is about passion, not pastimes. LA can be home to passionate fans and great attendance. They've proven it in other sports and it's not like the NFL is croquet or fütbōl.... if Seattle can create a strong home field advantage from around 2012 and maintain it for over a decade, LA can be expected to show up better for these Rams, IMHO.

I think fans should be more critical over hometown/regional fan attendence until we start getting a home field advantage again....
...or even just a neutral field vs our greatest rivalry...
