No offense to the original poster, but I wish we would push the breaks on hot takes coming from GMFB. It has to be the worst media publication covering the NFL I have ever watched. I know I have said it before, but when the "Which QB prospect you would go to Coachella with" it lost all credibility. I have gone back a couple of times since then. Still bites ass. Listen to the radio.
It isn't just them as I said in the OP.

I find it a waste of time to get worked up over things I have no control over.

Yes I am excited about this weeks game. Yes, the talking heads spewing their drivel over the air bothers me. But let the chips fall where they may. I have no physical impact on the outcome of the game. I don't control the Rams destiny. I only control mine.

all my dogs know about football Sunday is daddy is pacing around the house and he is bound to drop some food. They do have a nice Patriots football I let them chew on, only on Sundays.Slather some beef drippings on that bad boy and they go at it like, well, dogs in the driveway

It is going to be a good/great game.
Anyone looking at it from an objective, non-partisan viewpoint can legitimately pick Dallas. They are playing very well at the right time.

As is always the case with the NFL however, it’s pretty much the last thing they saw, and in that vein, Dallas looks to be on a roll. Rams don’t, despite their two recent wins, since they were at AZ and SF.

Again, we’ll see what happens, but I wouldn’t take it personal.

Inside the NFL panel went three out of four for the Rams. The only Cowboy pick was Boomer Esiason. Rey Lewis, Brandon Marshall, and Phil Simms all picked the Rams after praising the Cowboys and saying that they are a very tough matchup for the Rams. Then J.B. said, " So I take it that you are all picking the Cowboys." . Rey and Brandon were immediately waving their hands and saying, " No no we didn't say that!"

That, right there.

And Kay Adams still hates the Rams.

Yep. I wanted to marry her (even though I'm already married), until she started disrespecting the Rams. Up until then I thought she was perfect, pretty, smart and knows her football.

It suddenly donned on me with pre-season predictions. She said the NFC is wide open. She feels that any team could win the division. The Cardinals have David Johnson, the Niners have Jimmy G, the Seahawks have Wussel, and the Rams have Gurley. I suddenly realized that she doesn't know shit about football. Now I hate her.

I can see how the Rams and their fans would and should extra motivated, and I also see Wade Phillips wanting to atone.
Keep in mind that it does indeed go both ways. The Cowboys have been fighting and clawing for wins since they were 3 wins and 5 loses. I can tell you that they have been fighting for their lives most of the season to be in the position they're in and I can guarantee you that this has helped them 10 fold.

Both teams and staffs have many reasons to give an out of this world effort so lets all admit effort won't be the issue. I can tell you this from a Cowboys perspective, Dak is very tired of hearing how he is not a very good QB so his effort and mindset right now is locked in. I can tell you this, I was around in 80's and 90's and watching the Cowboys intensely and this team right now has a very similar feel to the one in the 90's right now. Incredible teams speed, great running back, a very solid #1 receiver and a championship quality defense and a QB who has done as good as Aikman did in his first couple of years.. This team hasn't gotten to the NFC championship game since the 90's so the fire right now with this team is off the chain.

Having said this, the Rams are at home, and have some favorable matchups and scenarios as well. The best team will win and I'm sure it will be fun to watch. I think both teams are looking at bulletin board material right now in terms of what the media is saying. There have been so very pro Ram support as well that have basically dogged the Cowboys. I think the main reason that the rams may be getting some flack is because of how well our defense is playing and how the rams offense hasn't quite been the same since Kupp going down. Yes they scored points, but we all know the struggles.

Good post, bad picture. I flipped the page and it scared the crap out of me. In my drowsy state, I thought I was having a 'Return of the Jedi' nightmare. I'm wide awake now.

Unfortunately it will continue until we at least make a deep playoff run. Time to change the narrative of these muthuh fuckers.

I don't think they really even need a big run, they just need to get that first playoff win out of the way for now..If they beat the 'Boyz, there would be no shame if they were to come up short in N.O. Of course if they win this one, it might give then all enough wood to Swamp the .Aints...

We need to win this game. The turnaround of this franchise led by McVay speaks for itself and demands respect. But if we cant win a playoff game then the criticism is warrented to some extent IMO. Go win the game and shut everyone up.

The narrative by the media sort of makes sense tbh. Goff struggled last year in his first playoffs. Goff struggled down the stretch without Kupp vs good defenses. Gurley is dinged up. Rams defense has been a sieve.

You can't expect media types to realize Rams have a different defense with Talib in there. Or that Goff tends to learn the hard way and doesn't handle new things all that well, but tends to do much better after he's been worked over. Or that Anderson has changed the look of the Rams offensive backfield. And so on and so forth.

I love seeing them all talk BS about the Rams. Should make for a fantastic MEDIA FALLOUT thread if and when we win this game. :p
You're not kidding about a different team with Talib in there. Night and day! Go Rams!

Yeah, but that's true!

History says they are one of the greatest franchises ever !! They may have the greatest QB of all time. The media might want to destroy his legacy if they lose against the LA Chargers .

Isn’t McVay 2-0 against the Cowboys ?? I don’t see anybody talking about that.

It’s turnovers that cost The Rams the game against Falcons last season.
