I googled that........dude you can easily make some modifications and have it double as a Chewbacca costume at a Halloween party.

Very cool for blending in........

Taking zombies out of the equation was a big mistake.

Indeed.........

People still watch this show? I finally quit watching halfway through last season. I just don't care. I should have stopped like 2 seasons ago. Same crap, different toilet.

A little help @Rynie are you talking about this show, or your Cowboys?

I don't know what they can do to turn around this show, but it's becoming really stale to me. Rick is such a pussy, it almost makes me wanna root for Negan. Or - just kill Rick off and let Daryl run the show. Negan vs Daryl would be fairly epic. Carl dying didn't really phase me for some reason. Maybe because I already knew he was gonna die before the mid-season break, so I had a billion years to get over it. Also because I see him on Twitter living it up, so the realism of his death is non-existent & stuff. I dunno anymore. Maybe this whole Negan vs everyone is getting too drawn out. I need a resolution to that and then a return to the real, original threat. The damn Zombies. You know... the walking dead.

I have never liked Carl. I think it's a combination of bad acting and bad writing for the character. It's tough to find a young kid that can carry a role like young Leonardo DiCaprio did. It's also tough to give a young kid meaningful bits in a survival story were most adults can't even handle the struggle. Riggs did his best acting at the very end but even then he just isn't very believable.

Rick is a pussy and it ruins the show. It seemed like Carl's speech to Rick, about how putting away his gun at the prison was what he needed, was actually the producers and writers trying to justify lame Rick to the viewers. We all understood what they were trying to do, but nobody cares. It wasn't fun or interesting. The writers seem to forget that Rick was a badass sheriff and it was that theme of the show that drew in most viewers. Rick and Darryl making the tough decisions and whooping ass needs to be consistent. These writers just aren't a good fit. I don't know how much influence Kirkman has or if they have influenced him and changed his style but I feel like the show has gone astray from what it originally was intended to be.

And please kill off Tara! Please kill all of the Garbage Patch people who forgot how to speak English in just three years of living in a dump.

@LesBaker We finally get I reminder that zombies still bite, (Carl) and that people can sometimes be as bad as zombies when Morgan ripped that guys intestines out. When someone is trying to kill you, you do whatever it takes to win. Then they follow it up with Carol and the King telling Morgan that he doesn't need to kill that last guy, who happens to be a part of a large group of assholes that kill whoever they please, demand that you feed them, just killed half of your friends in the last twenty four hours, and was taking Ezekiel to Negan to be executed. Why ruin the moment of with this moronic moral compass crap!?

Oh man that's the worst. It's like a bad Yoda impression. And I hope they're not suggesting that those people are stupid, and that's why they can't speak correctly. I mean, they're smart enough to be able to catch a zombie and dress him like a regeneradore from the Resident Evil game.

The part where a kid was able to put a slightly pointy stick through the back of a dudes neck like it was a red hot knife being shoved through butter made me chuckle and roll my eyes also.

Agreed, they are trying too hard to shove the moral compass in our faces instead of it just happening naturally like it did the first three or four seasons. Arriving at Alexandria really let the writers become extremely lazy for some reason. They sprinkle in all of the important comic book moments like Carl's eye, Negan bashing in Glenn's head, the all out war, etc but everything in between those moments seems either lazy, pointless, or almost patronizing. lol.

So much of what television is about is read and react. If you ever watch The Talking Dead you would notice that they make a big deal about the moral compass. There seems to be a certain portion of the fan base into that topic, like Yvette Nicole Brown or whatever her name is. So, they are burning out on the story writing and looking for something to push to make it interesting and they totally overdo the moral compass. Just like you said, it happened naturally before and it worked. Now it is forced and it's popping up in places where it doesn't fit, like after your friends got their heads bashed in, a war is started, your village gets mowed down by a heavy machine gun, and your leader is getting escorted to Negan to be executed. How could anyone possibly think that any of Negan's horde can be rehabilitated at this point in the game?

I really wish I could stop watching this show.
But here I am, every Sunday, being disappointed with how awful the product is.

Kind of like watching the Rams before McVay showed up

Woohoo! I got my wish. They killed off the garbage people. And for some odd reason Bad is has suddenly stopped speaking broken English. Anyone notice that? The meat grinder was a nice touch. Two down (Carl, Jadis' clan), and one to go (Tara). Well have to wait for the last one. Tara will be back next season. I guess Negan won't be happy when he finds out that Simon went against orders.

I read some funny news. Scott Gimple has been promoted to Chief Content officer, to oversee all of TWD properties. What does that mean? Is he out of making show decisions? I hope so. Angela Kang has been promoted to main showrunner. She was one of the writers. She was not good because her episodes were some of the worst received. I guess that they are at the point where they don't fire people for doing a poor job. They just promote them. Not a good sign. The writing and production side should be as abrupt and brutal as the show deaths used to be. You don't perform and you are out! TWD is a huge money maker. AMC should demand only the best.

Cheaper to promote than fire unfortunately.

The last couple of episodes haven't been awful. Still meh but I'm still watching. It certainly seems like they are setting up the end of the all out war similar to the comics. Will be interesting if they do the time jump going into next season. With rumors that Lauren Cohan is leaving due to contract negotiations stalling and her filming a new pilot it'd be a good point to dump her and just say she died at some point. They've under utilized Maggie to this point anyway so not sure she'd be missed.

I saw that Michonne days are likely numbered as well due to her success in Black Panther (haven't seen it) and how other movie opportunities should be coming.

I never read the comics, and its never mattered to my enjoyment. At this point they owe it to their fans to just wrap it up, finish off the series and concentrate on the spin off(s)
Hated the first season, but have come to enjoy "Fear" more than WD

I fell asleep 3 times watching last night episode. There is literally nothing going on until they will end the season with a cliff hanger.
You seriously could recap the last 2 full years of this show in a single episode
