Seahawks look like the Seahawks of old with a fierce attitude and maybe now with the best WR and RB depth in the league.

Thinking they got 1st this year in our division.
That's depressing...
possibly true, but depressing nonetheless....

Now lets be honest though, there are Rams fans that don't know we were in the NFCW at that time with the Saints. But lets focus on them :D
I question if they left from another team or were to young to know!

Why'd you leave out the Falcons? What did they ever do to you...?

JSN of the Seahawks broke a bone in his wrist and may not be ready by week one. That would be huge for us cause if he plays, I think they torch us with their passing game. Hell, even if he doesn't play I think that's a distinct possibility.

I don't see the seahawks beating out the 49ers for the division. They might be good enough for a wild card spot. I see them doing something similar to last season. If things go right for them they win 10 games. I will say their ceiling is higher than ours. I feel like our ceiling is around 7, maybe 8 wins. Our floor is probably something similar to last season.

I'll say this about the Seahawks...

They certainly pulled the wool over the Broncos' eyes when they received a haul of players and picks in exchange for a broken-down, past his prime, Russell Wilson. As bad as the Trey Lance trade has been for the Whiners, the Hawks were saved by that trade.

None of which were playing during this passing era of offense.
Certainly, there's more passing in the NFL today than in the past. However, there was plenty of passing in the late-1980s through the early-2000s. All those QBs won Super Bowls during that period, except for Foles who was just six years ago.

Among the other Super Bowl winning QBs in that period, were Montana, Young, Elway, Favre, Brady and some guy named Kurt Warner. Kind of an 'elite group' of passing quarterbacks.

I do agree that a top-tier-QB is almost a necessity to win a Super Bowl at this time.

By-the-way, Trent Dilfer just texted @RamFan503 and said ... 'Tell Elmgrovegnome to bite me'

I agree. That was my point. You don't always have to have an elite QB to win a SB. It certainly helps.
Yeah it really comes down to what is easier. You can either win a SB with a great/clutch QB and a mostly average team of players as long as everyone plays their roles or you can have an average QB with a super team around him to nullify that issue. Get one guy or get 15+ other players who can mask the QBs game management of mediocrity. Every now and then a team can amass a team so great (usually defense) that it can bully their way to a SB win.
