SF vs Atlanta this week.

Which evil are we pulling for here?
Tough choice. I’ve gotta give the nod to Atlanta. Rams could use some help already within the division.

SF dropping to 4-3 would be nice as long as Rams take care of business.
Yeah, I just cannot root for the 49ers no matter how it might help us.

This is not a knock on McVay to be clear. For me it's just a venting post. Some of you may disagree and that's all good.

I'm so dang sick of losing to the whiners. I get that they've been a good team and contending with the Rams over the years, but in my opinion and observation, rat f*ck boy always adds in wrinkles and special plays just for the Rams, but I don't see that from McVay. I wish he would create some trick plays just for the whiners.

It kills me when rat boy designs his plays to get 3-4-5-6 yards on every play while the Rams design their defense to stop 10-12 yard gains. The whiners merrily take the short yards all the way down the field to take double digit leads all too often. Then we make adjustments but we're working hard just to get back to even (a tie score).

Then you get refs who miss obvious calls like blowing the whistle on a kickoff when the Rams recovered a fumble and scored a TD on the return. Stafford gets face masked head turning sideways with no call.

It's just frustrating and while we beat them in the NFCCG and I would never trade that for regular season wins, we are a better team and need to put these F*cks in their place. Not sure why it's not happening.

That loss to the 9ers falls squarely on Shula's shoulders but I do believe that McVay tends to be hyper focused on the Rams offense and needs to be paying more attention when his defense is on the field. Tighten the back end of the defense up when the opponent is trying to get the ball out quick. Make the proper in game adjustments when necessary.

What FREAKING HORSEPUCKY

2 fumbles & a missed FG,& only 23 points scored by Niners.,meanwhile the game goes into OT & only scores a FG where Karty miss kicked & they got the ball on the 40 yard line.

I get what your saying, but total BS

**I took the liberty of edited your post to zoom in an excellent point you made, and the odd reflection I always get when thinking about it.

During the ‘21 NFCCG when the Rams were down, they ran a flea flicker play, but when the ball got flipped back to Stafford he didn’t throw it down field. Instead, he tossed it side arm to TE Blanton, who was behind some blockers who had set up for a screen up the middle. Blanton gained about 10-15 yards on a crucial drive.

I had never seen that play. It was thrown to a 3rd string TE. That could not have been a play buried in the McVay playbook since 2017. There was no way this play could have been scouted. It worked.

This is what you’re talking about, right?
I have always wondered why I don’t see more “new plays”. I know part of it is the motions and formations that change to make an existing play work, but I rarely see anything radically different and new.

Incidentally, the Rams ran that play again to Higbee last year, three years later!
…it didn’t work. Lol.
