Just goes to show what kinda lil bitch Ratface is. Never hear no shit like that go down with McVay.
Exactly. So overrated as a leader. All it takes is watching one press conference of McVay, and one of Ratboy to see it.
McVay- humble, always willing to learn and get better. Makes eye contact. Never asserts his position. Looks alert and keeps his body healthy. Always taking the blame and giving credit to others. Optimistic. gets along with the media, but commands respect. Calls people by their name and makes them feel good. He is serious about serious matters, yet always has people laughing, and leaving the meeting feeling valued and upbeat. His players are of high character, and buy into we/ not me.
Ratboy-Has an aura of superiority, rarely makes eye contact, unless he is glaring at someone to intimidate them into silence. Doesn't physically take care of himself. Always looks like he just came off a bender. Looks down on the media. Makes jokes for affect, and usually to make others feel bad, and often "humble-brags" or infers that others are to blame. Will make excuses, then take responsibility for a shortcoming, leaving the listener to know he in fact is NOT to blame. he would have succeeded if his guy didn't get hurt. He bring guys in the fold that have talent, but are known to be about themselves.
It is no wonder Shannahan does not command respect in that locker room. You can be the trickiest play-caller in the world, but you can only fake being a douche for so long.
It's why you give up late 10 point leads. It's why your players don't gush in the media about you.
And it's why you have public arguments on the sidelines.
...Sooner or later that things gonna snap.
