It's been kinda funny hearing some national guys fawn over the 9ers and just gloss over the McCaffrey's injury history while expressing grave concerns about Stafford.

Look.. Stafford concerns are real, I'm not pretending they aren't. But the 9ers offense just ain't near the same without McCaffrey.. and if that line is a problem.. the whole thing falls to shit.

I have much more confidence in Stafford playing 15 games this season than I have in CMC playing in 10 or more games.

The funny thing about sports rivalries is that everyone has their own personal hate for certain teams while other teams aren't even on the radar. Like college, hockey, or even little league rivalries don't do anything for me, and I'm not even a violent person, but whenever I see a 40whiner fan in that cringe ugly-ass jersey I want to slap off their dumb oversized red flat brim cap and yank their stupid oversized gold chain and drag them through the parking lot while shouting "Bang Bang escalator gang!!!!!!"

I was clowning a Niner fan last night at work. He said "we" were predicted to win the division. I told him thats because Vegas knows there are a lot of stupid Niner fans who will light their money on fire and bet.
Then told him thats because the 49ers have not won a Super Bowl since Steve Young, before he was born. And Niner fans live in the past Vegas see's them as a easy mark.
He said we won one with Purdy....nope. Well with Collin K, I said nope, look it up dude. The look on his face was priceless.

Disagree, agree, whatever on this board but anyone who clowns a whiner fan whether it be done by one of us or even a hag fan gets a high five from me. If I was there upon hearing that I'd provide the laugh track just to pile it on.

It's one thing (and not a good thing) for a person to have zero knowledge about the history of a sports team they claim that they are a fan. It's an entirely different thing (and Far worse) to be under the misconception that the team has won a championship in the past 1,000 days.

I know lot of 49er fans. And I also know more about their team than they do. I ask them "What do you think about your top draft pick?" They respond "He's gonna be great! He'll score a lot of touchdowns for us!" Then I say "Dude, he plays defense". They respond "Oh yeah, I forgot".

Well, in fairness I know of several 49er fans too and all of them know they went defense with the first 3 picks in Williams, Collins & Martin and believed they needed that injection of youth for that unit. Look, I do not like their team and they might not know who their Head Coach was before Bill Walsh (It was Pete McCulley and he was fired during the season) but they know their team inside and out.

I still have two favorite teams in the NFL, the Los Angeles Rams and anyone else playing the San Francisco 49ers.

Same here. Rams first. Whoever plays the 49ers second. Living in the 49er market all their games are aired here. So I watch a lot of their games when I'm not watching the Rams. I have Youtube TV and they offered me the Ticket at 28 bucks a month so I decided to pay it. Tomorrow I'll have the Rams on the TV and the 49ers on the tablet. I'll be in the game day thread on the laptop. My wife thinks I'm weird that I need so many devices during the football season. I might have the Lions/Packers game on the phone.
