Robinson is a good RB for them. I guess good insurance for McCaffrey if he goes down and maybe a split rotation. Will definitely have good stats in a Shanahan offense. But not sure this makes them better, just helps depth. Robinson is also in a contract year and he wants paid which is why Commodes jettisoned him. I guess long term if Robinson explodes this year they'll get a comp pick back. Meh.

Brian Robinson is a pretty good RB, and is solid insurance behind McCaffrey.

I agree that it is a good move for SF. He got replaced in Wash by an older Ekelar and a 7th round rookie and now he's a 49er. SF is desperate right now, First Skyy Moore and now this. Rotfflmfao. 3rd best NFC Super Bowl odds. Let the games begin, SF has all the makings of a complete shitshow this year making all these anal retentive football reporters look like complete fucking morons. Vegas will look stupid with this, but they'll happily take ALL the 49ers bets being placed on their success.

He's mediocre at best. His best attribute is getting 2 yards running right in to his OL and getting nothing more.

And that's nicer than what Commode fans say about him.
I think he is better than just 'mediocre'; and a smart addition for the Niners, with McCaffrey's durability an issue and their top-back-up Guerendo injured. Two other backs are also out (Taylor is on IR).

Acquiring Robinson for a late-round pick; and, apparently not even having to take-on his full salary seems like a quality move by the 49ers.

Vegas bases their odds on what people will bet not what they believe will actually win the superbowl.

He's a body but honestly other than that nothing to get excited about.

Personally, I’ve noticed over the years that when team start trading for players in late August, it’s usually not a good sign that they are happy with their current roster. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a team scramble to put a roster together. Hilarious if you ask me.

So what type of contract does he think he should get? Never eclipsed 800 yards in a season and never finished below 700 yards. If that isn't the definition of average I don't know what is. Lead back, can't break 800 yards. No thank you but glad the 49ers might have to depend on him for their success. Glad we changed our approach to draft and develop versus signing average players.

They have one healthy running back so kinda needed to

and crazy that the healthy guy is CMC

If CMC is injured, that offense gonna look like a hot steaming pile of shit.

Could fit the entire team, honestly, Bosa aside. McCaffery's injured a lot and is at the age where running backs fall off fast.

Yeah, he needs lots carries to produce any kind of volume. He can get a handful of hard yards sometimes. He's been on a Dynasty FF team and I swear, I think his longest run from scrimmage is like 8 yards in three seasons.
