Also and btw I think the Shitters plan for 2025 is to tank and get a high pick in the next draft.

If the Shitters were smart they'd draft McCord, who has a lot of similarities to what Purdy provides, and then allow Purdy to leave in FA. The way Ratboy runs that offense, with the strong run game balance, you can get away with a first contract QB. Use that advantage.

But hopefully they are not smart and break the bank for Purdy. Who I think is a good QB. But I would not pay that dude top end money.

So they continue to copy the Rams model, only failing in the most important aspect—winning a title.
Just think how close the Rams and 49ers were to trading places. If the Niners land Stafford and Rams get McCaffrey I’d say it’s likely that they win the title and the Rams would have missed.

It’s always interesting how a move one way or another can change a teams fortunes. For instance if the Rams trade up for Bowers and give up their second round pick to do it they don’t get Verse or Fisk.

If those things had happened, we would be living in a nightmare as Rams fans. It would take a long time to pull out of that—Verse/Fiske helped turn this defense into something really scary and…
Stafford would still be playing!

.

I know he's a whiner but how cool is it that Jordan Mason got a 2nd round tender and will make $5m this season. That's a great pay day for a udfa rb.

Loving this. Also, apparently there's some big drama between a bunch of Whiners wives. I guess Fred Warner's wife has some major issues with Kyle Juszczyk, Kittle, probably Bosa, etc along with their wives and was celebrating Kyle being cut. It involves politics so I won't get into it here but I'm guessing everyone can figure out why lol. But I'm all here for the Whiner drama getting toxic.

Yeah, I often think of scenario's like that. Like the butterfly effect on how one move has deep and long-term consequences.

Like if Jerome Bettis is never traded, does Brooks lose his job in 96'? Do we ever hire Vermeil? We never get Faulk, so do they ever win a SB in STL?

And of course if we dont hire McVay who knows where this franchise is at this point.

As for last yrs draft, no Verse or Fiske. Probably no Kinchens as that pick would have been used on the DL. We probably would have our 2nd round pick this year however. Of course, maybe with no playoff run last year due to a weak defense, maybe Stafford isn't here this year? Maybe a rebuild continues.

Some of these wives are such attention whores and think they are more important than they are. Know your role here ladies - the men are the ones bringing in the big bucks and putting their bodies in the line (not you). Stay in your lane. They need to avoid any unnecessary drama while their men are in this short period of their nfl careers. It’s amazing these ridiculous chicks and their over inflated sense of self worth/ importance.

It’s 2025 not 1985, 1995 or even 2005. The times they are a changin’. People are much freer to voice their opinion in a much more dynamic manner (via social media). Not always a good thing but that a reality.

In the 1980s and 90s, people were more free to voice their opinions without being piled on. Friends and families weren't excommunicated at today's rate based on who they supported or associating/talking with someone who supported "the other side." Social media has broken brains. Sad.
