So eagles fans celebrating they’ve got a referee in their back pocket. How stupid is that to call out?
The old principle at one of our local private schools was an NFL referee and it seemed he always did the whiner games. Cant think of his name but he was the principle at St Marys High School in Stockton CA.
It's not stupid because the NFL doesn't do jack shit about egregious bad calls. Players or coaches who criticize the refs get heavy fines. The refs as far as I know, never get held accountable.
Does Goodell think any reasonable person believed: "I reviewed the tapes of the Patriots cheating, and I saw no cheating, so I destroyed the tapes".
Not sure where to post this but here. Didn't want to start a thread for it. But how do you guys feel about the whiners-beagles playoff game this weekend? The whiners defense took another hit but somehow they've held it together where their offense can still win the game if they're on. By principle I don't cheer for the whiners but I wouldn't be upset if they beat the Eagles. It would take our likely main obstacle out of the way (SB 56 whiners won at Green Bay). Plus if the whiners or green bay wins, they go to Seattle. Assuming the Rams win at Carolina and one more game, the NFCCG could be in LA or at worse, in Seattle where we are fully capable of beating them down.
If the Niners can get off to a good start, the Eagles will feel pressure at home. They get tight at home when things are not going well. However, not sure how that Niners D can hold them down all game long.
I think they will be able to put points on the board. The Eagles D improved, but they have had a number of games that has made them tough to evaluate. Two very cold games against GB & Detroit where neither of the teans could score. Dallas lit them up in the 2nd half of their game and the Bears ran all over them.
They lost to the Chargers, but played well on D. However, Herbert was playing with one arm and their OL was a mess. Then they played the depleted Raiders & Commodes. They looked good in a rainstorm against Buffalo, but not ideal conditions. The weather looks to be unseasonably good this weekend in Philly.
Being that the whiners have the lowest rated pass rush and the Rams have Stafford, I'm perfectly willing to host the whiners for a semi final or NFCCG. If that happens. the Rams only lose if the Rams F it up. Without a pass rush, the Rams should drop 42 or more on the whiners.

Yep. Hope the Eagles win by 50 points and after the game is out of reach the whiners get cut and try to injure offensive players.

Would never wish injuries on any player, however I am not sad that he hasn't panned out for them because he can't get off the training table.
Either way the Rams benefit. It's always great to see SF get knocked out. But if they win they remove one of the teams that match up vs our boys the best.
