Yeah that washes better. Never know of course. But thinking slot via TE or WR is the priority and it isn't like the Rams to go against cultural fit.Tom Pelissero was just on the Dan Patrick show saying it was Egbuka the Rams tried to trade up for. This makes a ton more sense. It would have been less of a trade up for a WR that's infinitely more of a fit for the Rams.
Yeah Egbuka is versatile, a we not me champion and a willing blocker. Hed have been a great fit imoYeah that washes better. Never know of course. But thinking slot via TE or WR is the priority and it isn't like the Rams to go against cultural fit.
Why slot they got Whittington and tutu and Adams and puka both do work in the slotIf the X role is a priority for them they may take Ayomanor tonight. Though we are in range where he could go off any pick.
Still think they go slot though.
Aka do somethingYou watch the McSnead post round 1 presser? First question was about strategy and they had three plans. Trade up trade down or stay put lol
Not necessarily. Other teams placed the price so high that the Rams decided that they weren’t going to pay the price. If you’re not inquiring about moving up in the draft for a player you want you’re not doing your job. Rams dangled an offer but it was something that they were willing to trade. Teams wanted more and Rams said no thanks. Just my perspective. If so, this is just another case where the other teams saved the Rams from making a mistake, IMO.
Supposedly the Rams and another team were actively trying to trade up and both teams gave up after Egbuka came off the board at 19 to the Buccaneers.Tom Pelissero was just on the Dan Patrick show saying it was Egbuka the Rams tried to trade up for. This makes a ton more sense. It would have been less of a trade up for a WR that's infinitely more of a fit for the Rams.
And with this the Rams were saved from making a mistake as there wasn't anyone in this draft worthy of a trade up, IMO.Not necessarily. The Rams clearly felt there was.And with this the Rams were saved from making a mistake as there wasn't anyone in this draft worthy of a trade up, IMO.
