I think we are a better overall team then the Chiefs. But it comes down to matchups and I am not sure if we could stack up against Hill and Kelsey.

As good as Ramsey is, Hill is next gear fast.

I would expect us to beat any team if we play our game
Ramsey and Hill battled it out a couple years ago when Jalen was still in Jacksonville and Hill ended up with 4 receptions for 61 yards.

If we don’t make the playoffs because we can’t beat the Jets the I will Herby denounce my Ram Fandom for 5 years and be a Jets fan.

I disagree with the Packers. Knocking Rodgers off his spots and harassing him is something our D can be successful at, and Rodgers is what makes that offense go.

Agreed, the Saints are who I hope we don't have to play. Their offense isn't as dangerous as it used to be especially since we can put Ramsey on Thomas if he's healthy. But that D is no joke. Chiefs would be a really fun Super Bowl. The NFL would be elated if they can get a game similar to our Monday Night romp from two years ago in the biggest game of the year.

i like our chances but wouldnt bet on it.

The Chiefs are designed to create separation as the game goes on. Eventually Tyreek will break loose. Eventually Kelce will run a route perfectly in a seam to get a much needed 1st down. And thats not considering using the big 2 as decoys to set up Robinson, Watkins, CEH, or Le'Veon.

You have to run the ball perfectly against them and IMO we started too late in the season to be consistent with it against a where no lead is safe.

ALl that said, dont be surprised if the Titans beat them in the AFC title game. Derrick Henry is a goddamned tank and appears to be getting better in December . Honestly they were very close last year and theyve improved offensively (Tanny is using his legs and AJ Brown is an underrated WR).

I pretty much agree except for the Titans beating them. Their DBs are a weakness. I think KC could pass on them all day

Does anyone else think Mcvay is keeping the deep passing game under wraps until he needs it in the playoffs?

I refuse to believe there aren't any plays to be made deep with all the dinking and dunking he's calling almost exclusively right now. Surely defenders are creeping closer to the line of scrimmage as the games go on.

.
I am sure he is.
McVay is not the same coach as in 2018.
We saw that in the Patriots game, where he changed much more than in the past.
The Rams don't need to score 30+ to win, though I am sure they can do it,
If needed, I think that the Rams could get into a shootout with KC.
With the D as good as it is, much smarter to play conservative most games.

All that said, if the Rams offense lays an egg like with 49ers and Dolphins, it makes no difference who we're playing in playoffs, it would be an early exit.

I’ve been thinking this for some time now. I realize we don’t have Cooks or Watkins anymore, but Woods and Reynolds can get open deep, and Goff has shown a good long pass the past two seasons, then suddenly it’s all dink and dunk. I don’t know, something’s fishy.

Yeah, the Chiefs have more than Hill and Kelce. They have CEH at running back, Hardman, Watkins, Robinson, etc. They’re loaded, so the best strategy, in my mind, is to keep their offense off the field as much as possible.

For some reason I have a feeling the Chiefs won't get to the SB. The reason is, they are playing too easy and they got used to it, they are too good too early. I think they are going to get punched in the mouth by a team like the Titans or the Steelers playing the game of their life against them while the Chiefs have been playing it cool all year on supreme talent and have lost some of the fighting spirit needed for playoffs. In that scenario I also think the team that beats them loses the following game because you can only do so much after beating such a team and mentally you've already given everything.

For us, I think our path to the SB goes in any case through the Dome in NO and I'm pretty sure that the referees destroy us there because of the infamous missed call. This really bugs me but I can't envision another scenario.

Lets finish the regular season strong. The momentum of winning out and claiming the NFC West will put the Rams in a great position for the playoffs. Starts Sunday with an dominance in all 3 phases of the game!!!

Well, I think that McVay keeps using and tinkering with his 12 sets. Moreover, I think that they will be lethal in the playoffs. Goff will have some shots as D’s are forced to sell out to stop the Ram running game. Opponents will have to pick their poison on every snap.

I think we win TOP in every game we play from here on out, keeping the likes of Wilson, Brees, or Rodgers on the damned sideline.

I think our D is the best in the league and perfectly balanced. Any opponent is gonna be hard pressed to score on our guys.

In short, I’m looking forward to a fun Ram playoff run.
