As somebody said, it's already been shown that the vote of the owner's doesn't mean squat...They voted to stop the Raider's move to LA and Al quickly beat them in court...What would have changed after that precedent has been set...I'm certainly not an attorney, but I'm pretty sure that precedent means a lot...(Geez, I hate auto- correct and "which word I meant guessing"...I'll have to find out how to disable that irritating crap...It seldom gets either right...

I've always held the position an owner should build his own teams stadium. Moving a team because he cannot build a stadium is the ultimate proof you shouldn't be the owner. There is plenty of money in the bay area should Davis put the team up for sale they could stay at home, the same goes for Spanish and the Chargers.

Put me on record as someone who despises team moves.

The connection between team and community... I understand the owners have a certain right to make choices about their companies... but these arent McDonald's franchises.

I feel for the cities of SD and Oakland, just as STL. It's just not a good feeling. Maybe that's just me.
The NFL is alienating 3 very good markets. LA deserved a team, not two. Don't know why the NFL just didn't expand and allow Kroenke to own the expansion LA team while helping to build stadiums in St Louis, San Diego, and Oakland. The NFL doesn't need to lean on tax payers to build stadiums. They make plenty of money.

It's absolutely sad that tax payers have to pay money to build a stadium for billionaires, then in turn pay money to get in the stadium they paid the billionaire to build. It's not right at all.

I will say if they're leasing Sundays from a college that's OK but yes stop burdening the tax payers. This Vegas stadium was originally a unlv/Raiders joint venture and I was OK with that. This is now a public funded Raiders stadium thar unlv will have to pay for access and that's not cool.

I hate when teams move ..it really hurts the fans and community I've read a couple of chargers boards when the move was announced and they were heartbroken

My soccer team is going through something similar although the owner wants to say the local council is selling off land and using compulsory purchase orders to the local business around our stadium to property developers ..the team could be forced to move due to the land our development centre etc is on being bought and sold

the only team you can guarantee WONT leave thier city is Green Bay

I live in Vegas and they are gonna need people to travel here to buy tickets. Arena football was gone in 2-3years, ECHL hockey folded, and I expect the NHL team to be gone within 4-5 years. Pretty much everyone here is from somewhere else and has a favorite team. They wI'll be like me and when the Rams come play I'll go to that game but the others? Meh

The Casinos will buy up tons of season tickets. Many fans will be rich gamblers in town that are being comped tickets. Others will be Raider fans from LA...many of the not very savory type. Should make for an interesting mix on game day.

You know had the NFL just awarded St Louis an expansion team over Jacksonville this all could have been avoided. The NFL has just gave the finger to 3 good markets in 1 year.

The Raiders have done everything they could to stay in Oakland. The As are top priority to the city as far as a new stadium goes.
Raiders to Sin City seems a perfect fit.

The Raiders still plan on playing the next two seasons in Oakland, even if they get league approval to move to Las Vegas, as Mark Davis said in October, The Raiders hold two one-year lease options at the Coliseum.

And the team would still likely be called the "Oakland" Raiders in the two years it would stay in the East Bay while awaiting the Las Vegas dome to be built, should they get approval to move. So no, no Las Vegas Raiders of Oakland. And no, no plans to rebrand the team in Las Vegas. They would be the Las Vegas Raiders. Of course, much has to happen before these scenarios can play out.
