I always felt if a team is that bad after losing one guy, well, maybe they weren't who we thought they were. Seems like losing Gurley for a bit affected the offense more than anything. Giving up 30 points to a backup quarterback can lose you games also.

Don't get me wrong, I love Kupp and wish we had him back, but I'm not buying that theory. The loss of Kupp isn't the reason our OL isn't protecting Goff as well, nor is it the reason Goff is not hitting open WR's as consistently as he used to be.
It sort of is....I mean it seemed like when protection broke down early in a play Goff always knew where Kupp was and hit him early. It feels like now without Kupp, he is holding the ball a little longer and getting himself in trouble.
Chiefs game belies that fact. The instant this ship started sinking was the instant Cooper Kupp was injured.
That could be a big part of it. Kupp could get open quickly with his body fakes. He also ran short routes most of the time but got lot's of YAC. It's not the only problem but, I think it has an effect of the offense.
No offense at all, I think we all kinda know that.
What we can't figure out is how losing Kupp made our O-line start sucking 3 weeks later.
yeah, the eagles for one.Cooper Kupp is a very good player, but if he's the guy that derails your season, you're in trouble. Every team has injuries, more than the Rams.
