Why did the Texans feel compelled to give a second round pick a guaranteed contract?
Thing is, they'll get paid upfront with a healthy signing bonus (approx 3-4 mill), & 1st 2 years guaranteed. The money in question would be the salary of years 3 & 4Another reason for him to sign his contract is that he just got married last weekend to his high school sweetheart and she wants that money!
Tell 'em to get a second job in the offseason if he wants more gtd cash. There's never been a day when a TE was worth a hundred grand... ~ @den-the-coach /Dan KlostermanTrade his ass to Cleveland. "Hey Terrence a few more years and they will have a dome there." I would not be a good negotiator when it comes to players.
These second round picks are deserving of the same things that the every other second round pick has gotten over the years.. nothing!
Where's the GIF of Michael Corleone? "My offer is this... nothing".
I guess that the Browns will lose their reputations as the best run organization in footballWhat's even more ridiculous is both the Texans and Browns have two 2nd round picks this year so they literally screwed themselves out of signing the second one by starting this fucking mess with the first.
