Funny how things change. Wasn’t the narrative that Gurley was the Rams offense and that the qb and supporting cast were system guys?
OPOY and MVP candidate 1 minute, and the next irrelevant... Good grief Charlie Brown...

No matter how contradictory, they spin anything to support the narrative that the Rams are still the leagues whipping boy.

Who did the Rams beat (without cheating or obvious one-sided assistance from officials) on their way to the Super Bowl?

“I don’t know exactly medically when you categorize what arthritis is,” McVay said. “I do know that just from the amount of work that he’s had, there’s been a wear and tear on that knee.”

Hmm. “Tear”, huh? Maybe a bit of a Freudian slip? The verbal gymnastics are speaking volumes.

Huh? It’s a common saying to generally describe use over time. Not sure what you’re getting at unless you just wanted to bump the thread. If so than +1.

Are you still holding on to your "reliable source" stance indicating Gurley suffered a torn ACL? I would think you would let sleeping dogs lay but perhaps not...

Perhaps not. I’m not trying to do anything. Just scratching my head like the rest of you.

“Those who have nothing to hide, hide nothing.”

If it were just normal “wear and tear” their explanations wouldn’t sound so tortured and verbose, every time they are asked.

It's curious how they are saying essentially nothing about the team's best offensive player injury this far out of the actual season.

If this situation doesn't come to a conclusion I think it's fair to seriously consider that Gurley will not be a mid or long term asset.

If they keep hiding actual diagnosis on his knee something is afoot.

It shifts. When the topic is Goff, he's a system QB benefiting from Gurley and McVay. When the topic is Gurley, he's a system HB benefiting from McVay, Goff, and the OL. When the topic is McVay, he's a product of the Rams' talent.

I still believe in Todd, he is a rare athlete.

Mcvay needs to shorten his work load and I think one of our young running backs steps up next season .

I would take Todd Gurley at 80% over most of the other backs in the leauge
