Dude came out played physical, and balled.

On a lot of the Seahags long runs, Barron was either out of position, swallowed up by a blocker or trying to make an arm tackle that was easily broken. I seriously doubt he's on this team next year, and for good reason imo. You want your inside linebackers in a 3-4 to be thumpers, run stuffers, etc and Barron just isn't that.

.

They can't get to the qb and when they do it's because there was a hold on a receiver so it's first down anyway.

Awful tackling today. So many times they could have shut the run down, nek minute the rb is 10 yards down the field.

They gotta get their shit together. So glad at the end of the game it was up to the offense to protect the lead.

Ive given Wade the benefit of the doubt because he deserves it. But after this game I might officially be off the 3-4 bandwagon. With the Rams level of talent up front they should be controlling the tempo much better then they have. The Rams LBs are just not good enough to have 4 of them on the field in base D IMO. I'm starting to blame the scheme more then I am the players.

Maybe having Kiser or Hager get snaps isn't such a bad idea. The D was soft last year and not a whole lot has changed. Still no physical presence in the middle of the field.

I know the season is early but the trends remain the same. Anyone else feel the same?

Anyways...Go Rams and good win.

So CB Troy Hill got the start over veteran corner Sam Shields?? what did I miss on that?

Very strange decision

I would guess that Wade knew that there was going to be a lot of run plays with the Corners needing to tackle those big RB's ....thus he sent in the better tackler in Troy or Sam. :bueller:

In the end Troy Hill had a much better afternoon than Peters who was torched over & over & over. ConGrats to Tory performance today!

The defense struggled today, but the good thing is they can correct the mistakes. If there was a real lack of effort, I'd be really concerned, but I think it's more about the scheme. Plus not having a true edge rusher hurts because they seem to be double teaming Donald and Suh when they are lined up inside the tackles. One thing that really caught my eye was Suh getting flat backed in the first half on one of seattle's touchdowns. He got caught over-extended and was pancaked. He will see it in film and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Barron and Littleton are not a problem.

What? Dude hasn't played since.......uhhhh how many months? Nine months? Dude came out played physical, and balled.

Yes our LB core needs to gets better. Peters cost us points today.

Maybe someone can comment on what the safeties are doing? With Peters less than 100%, why isn't he getting more deep help especially against a speed guy like Lockett?

Seemed like they had Christian at LB most of the day and played with 6 in the box, yet still did not provide a lot of deep help.

I am guessing they wanted more athletes on the field to deal with Wilson, but that allowed them to have the ball run down their throats.

It's good you gave him the benefit of doubt. It's good to have experts on all subjects.......

The overall strategy is to speed up the other team's offense, trying to keep up w/ ours. Today it didn't happen, but plays were made at the end of the game. No...it wasn't pretty.....but it was a "W"

One might guess Wade let Peters continue to back up his talk....on the field of play. Peters knows at the end of the game he was burnt toast & has to wear this game perfromance all week .... I would not want to be Case next week in Denver.
