Just a little information about Tom Mack ... the ONLY possible #65.

All American at Michigan ... 2nd overall pick in the 1966 NFL Draft.

13 Seasons, and never missed a game ... NEVER MISSED A SINGLE GAME!

11 Pro Bowls ... by one source, a 4X 1st Team All Pro; and a 4X 2nd Team All Pro.

Hall of Fame.

I post the image above just for a bit of trivia.

When the Rams made a dramatic change in uniform color and design for the 1973 season, this is what we fans were shown prior to the start of the year. However, the white outline of the numbers did not make the final cut to the playing field.

I'd be interested to know if any other team has enjoyed the same kind of history of great O-lineman the Rams have over the decades.

Happy that McVay and Snead have once again made it a priority. Hoping to see our investments continue.

Pittsburg and Dallas come to mind.

The Raiders have had some great O-Line talent over the years.

In 1971, they had five O-Linemen that would eventually be in the Hall of Fame ... four starters ... Art Shell (LT) / Gene Upshaw (LG) / Jim Otto (C) / former-Ram Bob Brown (RT); and back-up OT / long-time-Charger Ron Mix.

That being said, the Rams' O-Line from the mid/late 1960s through 1989 was amazing.
Aside from the talent, it was the durability of the starters. Over a 20-year period, the Rams pretty much had just 13 starting O-Linemen. That's incredible.
