Very good. Unfortunately he had that dropped potential pick 6 in the Superbowl against the Steelers but otherwise, Cromwell was a great DB.How was tht dude in coverage?

Elmendorf and Simpson, to Elmendorf and Cromwell, to Cromwell and Johnson.Very good. Unfortunately he had that dropped potential pick 6 in the Superbowl against the Steelers but otherwise, Cromwell was a great DB.
Wow those horns are thick on the 6th pick down. I kinda like'em!
That play is etched into my mind for eternity. I still get the 'knife in the heart' feeling just watching that replay.Very good. Unfortunately he had that dropped potential pick 6 in the Superbowl against the Steelers but otherwise, Cromwell was a great DB.
Biggest snub in the history of the Hall. The reason many of us old-timers became a Rams' fan ...

View attachment 66932 Roman Gabriel was a great actor!
Well, he WAS an actor ... OK, OK, ... Roman was once in a John Wayne movie
And the Oscars!Biggest snub in the history of the Hall.
And that dropped pick might have changed the outcome if he had held on.....Very good. Unfortunately he had that dropped potential pick 6 in the Superbowl against the Steelers but otherwise, Cromwell was a great DB.
If he hangs on, he probably scores. If he does and the PAT is made (Corral missed one in the game) the score would have been 26-17 well into the 3rd quarter. No guarantee of a win but substantially improves the chances. And can you imagine the RAMS sideline if he scores? And that dropped pick might have changed the outcome if he had held on.....
Or even Mickey Hatcher!"Wake me up when we get to Dale Hatcher."
