After drafting Isiah Robertson and Jack Youngblood in the 1st Round of the 1971 Draft, the Rams selected Elmendorf early in the 3rd Round. Now that was a Great Draft!

Greg Bell was tremendous and a huge part of two post-Dickerson playoff teams in 1988 and 1989.

And ... the very sad story of Kirk Collins
Late round pick in 1980. Special Teams player in '81 and '82. John Robinson and Fritz Shurmur made Collins a starting Cornerback in 1983 (huge surprise playoff team that beat the Cowboys in Dallas in the playoffs). Collins had five interceptions in just four games to open the '83 season but was then diagnosed with cancer. He died four months later at just 25. Fucking Brutal.
