WHY is it these idiot NFL owners never listen to to the experts? The experts all said this would happen, that it was a bad idea, heck I MYSELF said this would happen.Did not take a genius to see it would.Spanos did not get it that because he gave his FANS the middle finger in SD,they returned the favor and gave him the middle finger as well not driving down there they hate him so much.

Like the fool he is,he not only thought they would continue to support him but that he would gain a fanbase in LA as well He also did not get it that NOBODY in LA gives a crap about the chargers. He was too stupid to understand that LA is only a ONE TEAM NFL market.two teams have NEVER worked.

He failed to understand that LA will not support two teams in the NFL as they do in new york with the jets and Giants because in NY they got nothing better to do during the winter time but to watch football so thats why it works in New York and LA ALREADY has USC,UCLA AND the Rams who have the long history in LA which is why our Rams DO work in LA.

Dean Spanos has disgraced and embarrassed the NFL with this move. That is why I honestly think by the time he moves into Inglewood and sees all those empty seats in that half stadium ghost town,he will have no choice to sell the team and hopefully the new owner will be smart enough to move them back. Spanos knows he cant move them back since he has burned his bridges with the fans there so that wont happen.

These guys in this video nailed it.

I think that will happen as well when he goes into Inglewood.LOL I am so proud of the san diego residents for doing the right thing and not making the drive up to carson to watch those games. This is sending a message to the NFL the fans are sick and tired of them screwing with us moving franchises all the time putting shiny brand new stadiums ahead of history and tradition.

The Rams are the ONLY move of the THREE between them,.the chargers and the raiders that is justified and makes sense because of their long history there. The Chargers and Raiders moving is embarrassing the NFL. The Raiders will have the same exact problem in Vegas the chargers are in LA with it being mostly the opposing teams that show up.

are you sure this game is NOT being played in kansas city?:rolllaugh:

Where are Chargers fans?

WHERE INDEED?:rolllaugh:

He really needs to give up his childish fight for LA slogan,he LOST along time ago, there was NEVER A fight for LA.nobody wants you in LA dean,go back to san diego.

Whats REALLY comical though is even dan fouts loves it that the chargers are bombing in LA so badly.

gee you THINK?:rolllaugh:

“We’d just shake our heads and say, ‘They’re staying away by the thousands,’” Rogers said.
Chargers’ genesis in L.A. a forgotten footnote – Orange County Register

Super (sad) Chargers: Team struggling mightily to draw home fans in Los Angeles

Dan Fouts Rips Los Angeles Chargers Home Crowd In Week 1
CBS’s national broadcast going in on the Chargers. As a San Diegan, I love it. As someone who is supposed to be a dispassionate observer of the NFL for my job, I think we can all realize this is a joke and an embarrassment to the league.

In the second-biggest market in the country, the Chargers can’t find 25,000 of their own fans to pack a tiny soccer stadium. It’s pathetic.

It won’t change any time soon.

The “Fight for LA” has been a pathetic mess and a complete failure. There’s no other way to see it.

This keeps on getting pointed out, but the Chargers will be in serious trouble when they move to the Inglewood stadium. They can’t fill an MLS stadium with their own fans in Year 2 — how are they supposed to fill a 70,000-plus-seat stadium in a couple years?

The move from San Diego looks worse and worse by the week

amen to that.

I don't think them moving was the problem. I think the league just bungled how the shuffle should have gone.

The Rams clearly belong here. And - as was proven in the Raiders game - there are still a ton of Raiders fans here who would support their return to Los Angeles.

I think it's wrong/misguided to say "only 1 of the 3 moves is working", because Vegas is absolutely going crazy over getting the Raiders. But they would have gone crazy over getting ANY team. The answer was to move the Rams and Raiders into Los Angeles and then ship off Spanos's club off to Las Vegas. It was the obvious play, and it would have worked.

The Chargers..I mean, you have to think that team will be on the move again within 10 years.

I disagree.

The last thing the NFL wanted was the Raiders back in LA.

They have a better history there than the Rams do, and a deep fanbase.

I also disagree that the Rams belong in LA. They don't, it's a foolish thing to assume. They are there because it means $$$. In the modern era they spent more time in STL and out of LA as in LA. Want to compare modern era records?

And you lose your point when you say that LV was the obvious play for the Chargers, and that they will be on the move in 10 years. They have a lifetime one dollar lease LOL. ONE DOLLAR.

Try to keep up OK.

NFL wants to expand. Lots of games in London and Mexico City. If they do expand, Chargers would be the perfect fit for Mexico City

Disagree, Les...From my perspective, the NFL didn't want Georgia to move the team back in the 90's As a longtime fan it was a wrong move from my POV, and I can't be wrong in this because it's my take and no one else's

If they were going to move a team to LA, the Rams made sense.

Rams and Raiders had been in LA at the same time, and showed it didn't work with both of them - that's why they both moved away.

Chargers suck. They've lost the battle for LA, even before the move to the new stadium. They have a tiny amount of local fans, while the Rams keep adding new fans. They destroyed the SD fan base for the NFL, which they were counting on. Once the move is done, and they are selling a fraction of the tickets of the Rams, it will be time to push the Chargers owners out to see if SD can be saved as a NFL city.

Well... if I had it my way, the Rams would be the only team in LA, the Raiders would stay in Oakland, the Chargers in SD, the Oilers would still be in the league and in Houston, and the Bucs would still wear the creamsicles!

At what point do you think there was ever a chance she wanted to move back to LA? She despised LA.
How does the dead witch have anything to do with my personal opinion?

You nailed it LoyalRam. The NFL never wanted the Rams to leave LA.They were very much against it.In the initial vote the majority of the owners voted against the move until the evil woman threatened them with a lawsuit and only then did the owners change their vote and give the majority vote for the Raiders to leave.
