Whiners are ripe for a 2nd half of the season collapse. We just need to be around to pic up the pieces.

Ramsey making a hell of a difference. Wildcard here we come.

Wildcard hell! We are only 2.5 behind 2.5 'Friso, and, barring injury setbacks, I guarantee we will beat them in the rematch. At this moment we are 0.5 games behind the 'Hawks, and we are going to topple them too.

The LA brass is still looking for OG help before the trading deadline, and, when Professor Kromer reworks the OL, this offense is gonna catch fire.

We are winning this division this very season!!!

Love Charles Davis. Even with their stumble trying to figure out who Travis Scott was they did good.
Really? 4th and goal at the 5 we go for the FG, defensive offsides. Charles says the Rams get the ball at the 1 and can go for 2! It was half the distance to the goal and we kicked the 3 point FG. He didn't even correct himself. There were a couple of other times he was tongue tied and called wrong players.

I say if you make a mistake, own it and correct it.

Their schedule is not easy. If Seattle to sweeps them they are cooked. Their other tough games are @Saints, Packers, @Ravens & Panthers and our game.

9ers looked like ass today and I think teams are committing to making Garopollo beat them and they got 3 fgs...against Washington...
Yeah I think the 9ers are going to be held back by their QB position. Shanny will still make him look good but come the playoffs they're gonna get roasted. Not too worried about them tbh if the Rams can find their stride.

Either way good teams beat bad teams. We not only did that, but our defense played a really good offense and had their way. That felt goddamn awesome.

4-3 bitches! :p

I only followed the game thru espn gamecast and NFL redzone. So my I have questions on from my limited visual evidence.

Running game still stinks. Is that on any particular interior OLman?

How did Ramsey look tackling? I am so glad we don’t have to see Peters on roller skates anymore.

Did any of the new young guys stand out on defense?

Why so many incompleted passes to Everett? I am glad they didn’t stop throwing to him but jeez....

So many game balls. Wade finally blitzed, McVay finally got Goff out of the pocket, Woods was Woods, one of the best all around WR’s in the game. Everett got open all day.

Dante Fowler Jr. wrecked the game, absolutely wrecked it. In fact our whole LB crew were solid. Our patched up secondary held up well. Edwards may have saved the season for us. Gurley and Hendo, were a good one-two punch.

I know there were more. I dare say that we looked like the Rams again.

I noticed that Blythe had some trouble run blocking.

Ramsey looked great! Outstanding open field tackling and even forced a fumble with a solid hit.

Just left the game. Man that was fun. I watched Ramsey specifically. He made a huge difference. Even when Julio was targeted it felt like Ramsey was in the way making the throw difficult. David Edwards is a massive human being as well. I have a feeling we'll be picking up some victories in bunches moving forward.

Blythe blew at least 3 perhaps 4 or more blocks in both run and pass just in the first half alone. Edwards had a decent game, as he missed a few blocks but overall Blythe went back to being the worst lineman of the group. He's nothing but a speed bump on the way to Goff. Watch is play, his foot work is decent to poor depending upon the play. In pass blocking his short arms are very apparent because he many times can't prevent the defender from slipping his block with good hand play. Blythe is a backup talent nothing more.

I look for Edwards to continue to develop and improve. If he does he can nail down that LG position. That would make Evans the swing OT and possibly the RT of the future. Evans finished the game playing LT. It's also clear that even against this mediocre D-line, Whit's age is showing.

Henderson looked the part of a #2 RB this week. Lets see if he can continue.

The Rams have changed their blocking scheme when they run inside just as I thought they would. It's hard to tell from the TV coverage but it looked like mostly gap blocking when they ran inside. I don't think the RB's have really adjusted what to look for yet in that scheme. There were gaps they simply didn't exploit. But the change has been made and they should improve.

If they can continue this development of their o-line blocking scheme against the Bengals they will have 2 weeks to refine it during the bye on week 9. It's all about execution and playing to your strengths.
