I feel for them. Reminds you of our days in St Louis at the end. Or even pre Vermeil. More than half the battle for bad teams is convincing guys to come and play for you until you can turn it around. Now they may be cheap as well, but they still likley lose bidding wars unless they grossly overpay a player.
Yeah, we're no longer the brunt of jokes. Or Pac Man saying "Dude, its the Rams".

nobody's joking no more...
That’s true but the Rams def have a narrative attached to them that annoys me. The “All In” or “pushing all the chips forward”moniker seems to only apply to the Rams, but when other teams make big moves they’re just “getting better.”

The Rams have built a consistent winner for the last 10 years using the draft, FA, UDFA as well as trades….no different than what they’re doing in Philly (for example) yet no one alludes to to Philly having to go “all in” to get to the top. Lot’s of good teams make big moves. SF went and got McCaffery, NE just got AJ Brown, the Ravens went and got Henry. I could go on and on. Examples are everywhere.

The Rams don’t get enough common respect in this regard and are narratively singled out as having to go buy success.

mojo your comments are on the money...

we get no respect and are always buying our success... ya bullshit...

often our outstanding drafts never get mentioned.. (thank you mcsnead and many others)...

ya we got ownership that wants to win (and he does want to).. apology accepted ...

we got a coach that constantly pushes the envelope over and above the consensus "you got to do it this way"... ty mcvay

the rams are the bar...

so just try to keep up... wannabees

go rams

The NFL is a success from the top down. The Cardinals are a poorly run professional sports team. Great players like McBride will likely never know winning at this level. Other top or solid players will likely leave at some point and experience success elsewhere in the NFL.

I think of Budda Baker. How would he be looked at wearing a Ravens, Steelers, Tampa, Giants or KC jersey? As always JIMO.
