Down 21 points to start this game, Jared was forced to throw 68 times and the result was predictable. He dropped several dimes, a few clunkers, a couple tipped flukes, and missed a zone blitz drop that resulted in a bad pick. Name a handful of QB’s in the league that would’ve done better in these circumstances. And yet fans blame Jared. The same holding til the last second that produced a TD to Everett cost him fumbles. Should he stop being fearless? Sheesh...

Ariens’ plan to attack with short and intermediate passes to his gargantuan receivers was something I predicted just before the game. It was only a matter of time until man concepts would need to become a greater part of this D. Yet, did anyone else notice the run defense was generally good? It happens to every coordinator a couple times a year, but Wade got out coached today. I still wouldn’t replace him.

Losing Rapp hurt more than many realize. Hope he returns soon because he’s definitely going to be needed in this defense.

Today was absolutely the best plan I’ve ever seen in neutralizing Aaron Donald. I’d bet my house it won’t be duplicated again this year.

Finally, this team took an enormous gut check and kept fighting. While others are bitching, I marvel at the level of play Woods, Kupp, Cooks, and Everett displayed today.

I’m normally depressed after games but I’m actually proud of this team. The Bucs played their Super Bowl today and we will see that kind of preparation all year. Does anyone else here remember the Dolphins beat the Pats last year? I suppose that meant they should’ve replaced Tom Brady, their DB’s, and their entire OLine.

It’s a long season and this is part of the process.

You’re my brothers and I get being upset. Just don’t Chicken Little on us. McVay isn’t Martz. Wade is not Peter Giunta. Jared is not Jim Everett. And this team is 3-1. Did you really expect an undefeated season?

Chill.

Phillips defense is predicated on the D-line getting pressure.. and it didn't.

Hence the way we were carved up.

I never thought this game was the end of the world.. I'm not shocked we lost.

Eventhough I had put this one in the "W" column in my mind this week.. still not shocked.

We got beat on both lines. Game over. And honestly... I'm not upset. I downgraded my expectations for this game.

Bucs are a good team btw. Arians and his staff just served up some extra special schoolin for our young HC and his crew.

This hurts to realize but: Rams are a good team but not a special team. Once you get there it isn't so hard to see what happened and move on. They still might be special by the playoffs, but they got some work to do.

I think this game put a nail in Marcus Peters LA Rams coffin.

Phillips would like to play more press man and he is just not a fit for that scheme.

I look for them to draft a guy and maybe even pursue a FA CB that can play man, before resigning Peters.

Talib also might be cooked at this point. Need to get more aggressive players at that position.

The ship isn’t sinking but it sure needs a couple of leaks fixed. This team is good and seems a tic or two off from hitting it big. I would love to see our stock start to rise again after a Seattle butt whoopin, or at least a clean game with apparent offensive rhythm. This one was especially hard though because I could no longer deny that our dominance of 17’ 18’ is over. I wasn’t ready for that to be my new reality.

I wouldn’t mind having a corner, other than Robey-Coleman, who likes to tackle

There has always been a nail in Peters' coffin. Rams are no different than any of his other teams, he will wear out his welcome it's what he does. Been saying all along I hope the Rams are smart enough to pass. If not, our front office isn't as smart as we think.

Talib isn't the same guy he used to be, but he's still a good corner and is good in the locker room. I don't have a prob with them keeping him around as long as they're not paying big bucks.

Draft is going to have to address the corner position. Long might have something, but my fears with his selection haven't exactly gone away yet. Rest of the way this season the Rams need to work Edwards in there for the love of God because at least he'll actually improve game to game. If he can't show something, well, Snead's gonna have his work cut out this offseason.

Hav btw needs to get back to basics on his footwork. I'd have him off to the side doing drops non-stop with Fowler and Obo speed rushing him.

Also, we saw what coaching can accomplish when McVay took over the Rams. I think today we saw that Arians and Bowles have made a huge difference in Tampa. Add in a few new guys like Barrett, and this team has a shot to make some noise if Brees is not back too soon and even if he is they still will be tough to handle. Winston just has to stay focused.

For all those the sky is falling people, Dallas and NFL golden boy Dak put up 10 points on the Saints while our “horrible” offense only put up 27. It’s football, things happen. Team has a lot to improve on but we went 3-1 during the first quarter of the season. Could be worse.

We are 3-1. And there are no 4-0 teams in the NFC. San Francisco is the only undefeated team in the conference - and they had a bye week this Sunday. We're not doing badly. Lots to fix, but fingers crossed the coaching staff can figure it out. The Patriots did not look like Super Bowl contenders last year at the 1/4 mark. It's a long season. All we can do as fans is enjoy the ride.

Disappointing loss, but even great teams slip up every now and then. I wanna continue to hope that McVay will learn his lesson from these kinds of mistakes but I'm getting to that point where I expect to see him go full Martz from time-to-time; 65+ pass attempts is a glaring statistic I'm not comfortable seeing from an offensive play calling perspective. It's nice to keep Gurley's legs fresh late in the season but we have two solid RBs with Brown and Henderson. We need to utilize them to keep defenses honest.

On the bright side, Everett is getting more reps and making the most out of them. Hope he continues to grow as depending on Woods and Kupp is unsustainable.

1. Can’t win if you turn the ball over 4 times.

2. I’m fairly confident that won’t happen all that often.

3. Again and again it’s demonstrated how important O-line cohesion is and how it correlates to gaining rhythm on offense. That’s my primary concern right now. That shit wrecks QB confidence, trust, and internal clocks.

Oline has some major holes to fix. It's not gonna get any easier next week with Clowney
