Gross.
Wait, can he run or catch? He could probably outrun our TE’s tbh
Haha. I went back to watch old cut ups of Higbee seeing if he was a good comp for Mason Taylor.

Before age and injuries hit, he had a bit more explosion in his first 3 steps and could gain ground after that. Would love for that again in the TE room.

I keep reading and hearing it's down to Banks or the edge Williams.
Would hate if they got Williams. I think he is best edge in class personally. I'm not exactly sure who I hope they take, but, hope its a reach or something.

Per Dianna Russini
One mid-round trade to watch for: The Rams (holders of No. 26) making a move up with the Dolphins (13th and open to moving down) to leapfrog the Colts (15th) and draft Michigan TE Colston Loveland. Dianna's reported this:

"Expect the Rams to once again show interest in a tight end in the first round. Last year, Los Angeles tried — and failed — to move up to select Brock Bowers. I’m told Sean McVay and Les Snead could once again try to move up to get their guy."

Yes I think it is possible. Teams in the top ten have great need at the position. Vegas is another possible destination for him.

Do you think it makes sense that a QB prospect with good size, a good arm, and anticipation throws and good progressions on his film should go round 3 in this draft?
Big difference between top 10 and round 3. I can see the Rams taking Shough at the top of the 2nd.

We shall see, id rather trade down to the 2nd and grab Fannin or Ferguson. But trust in McSnead
I tend to agree. I'd rather trade down and get a high 2nd and 3rd, use that high 3rd on Fannin. That would give us 4 picks in the top 101. Sure, I certainly like Loveland/Warren more then Fannin, but difference between trading up and down is huge.

My biggest take away is her use of "could". She's speculating off speculation from last year that we tried to trade up so why not do it again? Whole lot of maybe and assumption on her part.

Higbee played well after coming back from his knee injury. And Parkinson and David Allen provide some depth this year. TE seems to be "ok" at present. Draft some TE in the later rounds and let them develop. Draft BPA this year and hope we nail 'em like the last 2 years. Can't wait to see their selections!

The mistake some mock drafters are making is they’re saying the Rams are going to choose an OT with their 26th pick, not realizing the Rams don’t need a left tackle but a right tackle, and that just because someone plays good at left tackle, this doesn’t usually translate to being able to play right tackle.

I prefer to wait for the Right Tackle Fairy to come and place a right tackle under my pillow in the 2nd round personally.

trent williams is cooked and the 9ers know it. The backup signed on elsewhere (KC?). They are gonna have to re-sign purdy. For the $$ he’s gonna get, it becomes imperative they draft a franchise LT to protect him while on a rookie deal.

Belton is nasty. I would love for the Rams to grab him, but I doubt they would spend #26 on him and he won’t be around at #90. Banks might not make it out of the 1rst round, so if he’s their guy…

Agreed, seems like pure speculation. We were willing to trade up for Bowers because he was a generational talent. Hard to see that kind of evaluation for either guy this year..

That moment when you realize you don’t have a 2nd round pick
