Skattebo would be off my draft list for us. Kyren is a better version of him already. Only RB's I'd be looking at are the homerun hitters, not something similar to what we already have. Particularly when they are actually worse at holding onto the ball.

Cant help but love the guy when you watch him play, but what does he bring that Kyren isnt?
He's not fast and of course there's this:
  • Ball security is a major concern - 10 fumbles over past three seasons often stem from running too upright into contact and poor technique protecting the football
Valid point on the fumbles, I just like how he plays.

Reading some Whiners fans want to draft him and make him a fullba k. Thinking some ROD members are double dipping on their message boards. I suspect @Loyal and @Merlin
You bastid. Think last time I visited that hell hole was when they choked in the Super Bowl.

Skattebo offers fear for opposing DBs. Thing about backs who bring power is nobody in that secondary wants to square them up. And that affects the defensive mentality. It changes shit.

Still pissed that McVay benched CJ Anderson for the Super Bowl. Going with Gurley killed us in that game, on top of not having Kupp. CJ changed the offense midseason when we added him. Much as I love McVay he consistently makes poor calls with the offensive backfield.

Again though I'd draft Martinez. He's the MFing dude.

We don’t throw to our RB’s enough. I haven’t looked at the numbers, but from my couch that’s my observation.

Btw in the vid those clowns get the comp wrong. The comp for Martinez is Marshawn Lynch.

Benched? He was dog shit against the Saints and neither guy did anything in the SB. Gurley 10/35 yards, CJ 7/22 (and a fumble)
Yeah benched was the wrong word. CJ should have gotten the nod and all them carries.

Joel Klatt on Cowherd again mentioned Hampton as a top Rams target. Interesting as now both he and DJ has the Rams after Hampton.

Only ILB would be worse in my book than a RB in the 1st. And that's the 1st I've heard Hampton linked to us.

Hampton makes sense for
Mcvay.
But these media guys knowing the Rams top target(s) and telling everyone - makes absolutely zero sense for how the Rams FO works.

Josina Anderson reports league sources have been made aware of the “potential availability” of Breece Hall within “the last week and a half.”
Who knows what is true this time of year, but Anderson’s report comes a month after new Jets coach Aaron Glenn was far from glowing in his assessment of his new lead back. Glenn, you may remember, emphasized having “three running backs,” pledging each would be "(utilized) as much as possible.” Perhaps they are willing to move on from Hall in the final year of his rookie contract. Stranger things have certainly happened. It has been too quiet on the NFL trade front. Maybe things will begin shaking loose Thursday afternoon.

Wouldn't mind adding Breece for a 5th or 6th rounder. Hes got a lot more juice than kyren.

And now Cowherd just teased that Russini will be on after this ad break to talk about were going to trade up. Probably her TE guess again.

Bet the Rams trade out the first round all together. Better not, I'm having people over to watch the draft tonight lol

That would be best case scenario though. Anyone we could take at 26, isn't much better (if at all) then someone we could get in the 30's-40's IMO.

Hoping there’s some truth to this. It would signal they’re not sitting on the RB situation and KW/Corum.

Seems to me if Hampton can get by Denver, he will be there. The strength of the RB class may allow him to slide.

In fact Denver likley looking at Loveland & Ebuka as well. So we get their leftovers barring a trade down.

Russin just said the Rams, like most teams, would likley trade back if they get a good offer. Teams have expressed to her that they prefer moving back in this draft. However, if Snead feels they will be stuck at 26, they could move up a few spots for a guy they really want.
