Former Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested Tuesday night outside a Kansas casino, TMZ reported.

Per the TMZ report, Randle was asked to leave the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, KS. He did, but he later returned and tried to fight a security officer.

Randle is facing charges of felony criminal threats, misdemeanor assault of a law enforcement officer, interference with a law enforcement officer, battery, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.

Before the Cowboys released Randle in early November, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he was concerned about Randle’s mental health.

Randle is subject to a four-game NFL suspension even though he’s not on a team.

When last we heard from former NFL receiver Plaxico Burress, he was trolling the Eagles. The Eagles now have a way to troll him.

According to the Associated Press, Burress has pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges in New Jersey.

On Monday, Burress admitted that, for 2013, he failed to pay $46,000 in state taxes on $1 million income. As part of the plea bargain, prosecutors dropped a charge of issuing a bad check or electronic funds transfer.

Burress, per the report, faces five years of probation and a “conditional” sentence of 364 days in jail. He’ll be formally sentenced on February 5.

A plea deal reportedly had been struck in July, but that report was not accurate. It’s unclear whether Burress actually will spend time behind bars.

Seven years ago, Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg with a gun he took into a Manhattan nightclub. He ultimately spent nearly two years in prison.

Burress played for the Steelers, Giants, and Jets, before returning late in his career to Pittsburgh. He caught the game-winning touchdown pass in Super Bowl XLII, the game that stopped the Patriots from going 19-0.

LAWRENCE PHILLIPS BEGS JUDGE DON'T MAKE ME LOOK GUILTY ... In Murder Case
BY TMZ STAFF

Clothes make the man ... and in Lawrence Phillips' case ... he hopes they make him look NOT GUILTY -- which is why he's begging the judge to let him wear civilian clothes at his murder trial.

Phillips is accused of killing his cell mate at Kern County State Prison back in April -- and he's expected to stand trial in 2016.

Now, TMZ Sports has learned the ex-NFL running back has filed new court docs asking the judge to allow him to wear civilian clothes to court during his trial instead of a prison uniform -- because he believes it will help him get a fair trial.

The long and short of it ... Phillips believes he'll be presumed guilty if he's already wearing stripes.

The fact he was already serving time for assault with a deadly weapon probably doesn't help his cause.

The judge has yet to rule on the clothing issue. Stay tuned.

Jesus, this guy is just a train wreck of a human being. You read some of the stuff on him, and you can't help but kinda feel sad for him.

Browns outside linebacker Armonty Bryant and practice squad defensive back De’Ante Saunders were arrested early Friday.

Scott Taylor of WOIO Channel 19 in Cleveland was first to report the arrests on Twitter. Taylor reported that Saunders was charged with OVI and speeding but the reason Bryant was arrested has not yet been released by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Per the report, police found a gun and the prescription drug Adderall in the car.

A statement from Browns general manager Ray Farmer released Saturday morning said Bryant won’t make the trip to Kansas City for Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs.

“These are charges that we take very seriously,” Farmer’s statement said. “The importance of responsible decision-making is something we continually stress to all members of our organization, which makes it extremely disappointing that these two individuals would put themselves in this situation by making such poor decisions.”

Bryant was arrested on a DUI charge the week after he was drafted in 2013. He has a career-best 5.5 sacks this season.

Saunders is a rookie who signed to the practice squad in November.
