It looks like they are going to try and start bringing them out in the next couple of days according to news reports.
The first 2 have been brought out safely! Fantastic news. Hope the rest of the rescue goes as well as it can.
I know we all hope for continued success. It certainly sounds packed with risk, still.
The water level dropping is a fantastic break for them.
An Australian website for one of the newpapers "Down Under" is reporting that 6 of the 12 boys are now out of the cave. I got the impression that the divers are taking them out two at a time. Possibly that has the effect of calming them because they are with a friend.
This is great, at this rate they will be done sooner rather than later.
See below.....it could take up to 10-12 hours for each trip out so they must be taking them out in pairs. This is just a little bit from the USA Today article, it's one of several that are saying about the same thing.

Thai navy SEALs announced the extractions but did not reveal the condition of the boys. Plans called for the 12 players and their coach to be placed in ambulances and given medical assessments. They will be shuttled to helicopters that will take them to a hospital.
The boys judged to be in the best condition were expected to be extracted first.
He said the precarious journey to freedom could take 10-12 hours for each boy, and that extracting all 12 boys and their coach could take days. Each boy will be escorted by two divers, and will come out one at a time, officials said.
Water levels inside the massive Tham Luang cave complex in northern Chiang Rai province dropped by around a foot on Saturday and are at their lowest levels since the team became trapped June 23. Rescuers are able to walk deep into the cave, all the way to the “third chamber,” which is around one mile away from where the boys are located.
If the water level only dropped by a foot, how were those parts of the cave that are walkable now not walkable before? I'm clearly not a diving expert, but swimming through a foot of water while in scuba gear seems impractical.
Even if the water dropped from 5 feet to 4 feet, so the kids can now walk those parts, a cheap scuba mask could have fixed that problem.
You probably would have never gone in to begin with then.Seriously, like my worst nightmare. I don't do small spaces at all. Cramped spaces make me anxious and agitated. Just imagining myself in their shoes makes me anxious.
Well, 1 former Thai Seal diver died earlier this week in the cave. He was an expert diver obviously. This was when the water level was higher, though. If the water level only dropped by a foot, how were those parts of the cave that are walkable now not walkable before? Well, it's a good start.Well now the reporting is 4, not the 6 I read on the Aussie papers website. Maybe they are on the way.

I can climb the freak out of anything tall though
I did actually. About 20 feet. Landed in a sitting position and F'd up my tail bone and my lower back has never been the same. Pine trees was my thing back in the day. Shoulda bought a chainsaw and got paid. You've never fallen then have you LOL. Or seen someone else fall.
That'll cure ya of that fearlessness let me tell you HAHAHAHA.
