If the Rams had NE schedule, we would have been 16-1 and easily in the superbowl.

It was vs the seahawks (I believe the first game).

This goes to the heart of it.. Puka is a better FOOTBALL PLAYER than JSN. That's not even downplaying JSN.. it's just acknowledging that Puka is truly special and more complete. That kind of effort.. plus his blocking.. plus his ridiculous production.. plus his amazing highlight-reel catches.. I mean.. COME ON!!!!!

Stafford is the better QB.... And better than Donald.... But both those "inferior" QB's got their teams to the Superbowl..... Stafford failed to do so.

Our defense isn't designed for that. It's more of a "keep the game close" type of Defense so that the Offense can put the game away.

And when the offense doesn't execute to its potential, well I think we get the point.

I have to counter with the overtime game.

Stafford drove the Rams down in overtime to beat Seattle just to watch our defense give up a corresponding TD and 2 point conversion to lose the game.

If your offense scores a TD in overtime then the defense needs to hold them.

But if your offense has to punt 4x and the ST's misses a field goal and gives up a punt return.... all in the 4th quarter.

Not sure you can blame the defense for that

To go into OT I blame primarily the offense but some blame goes to the defense for giving up the tying score.

But the OT was 100% on the defense.

Absolutely.... there is some blame to be shared.

But when you have an MVP QB and an "offensive genius" head coach, I think the lion share of the blame rests on the offense.

i'm thinking something slightly different.

i would use this here sex pistol and try and choke her with it. but it wouldn't be fast, it would be nice and slow. take my time. give her a break here and there. maybe rip her clothes off, lick the seagull stink off her body. go back to choking mode, nice and slow, take my time. maybe insert my fingers in her box to get a good grip of her. move them in and out to really get in there and hold her.

keep moving both backwards and forwards, yeah. nice and slow. yeah.

then quicken the pace, yeah. keep going, yeah.

100%. That pass/rush defense failed miserably down the stretch. Priority 1 this offseason.
 
Drake Maye was the 2nd youngest QB to start a SB and it showed. Kid has a bright future but that game the lights were too bright for him. Plenty of good/greats suffered the same fate. Elway, Marino, Manning, Goff etc
The MVP was a reg season award that shouldnt have been close, but at least went the right way
I think its fair to say that Maye deserved to finish 2nd in the MVP

Because although he's talented and had a great year, dillusional Pats fans forget their defense went from #24 to #4. They think he did it all by himself. Yet after his weak schedule once he got into the playoffs it was obvious the defense is the only reason they went to the SB.
