Be Careful my friend. You may want to look-over-your shoulder for a few days.

Mina Kimes ... out-spoken supporter of, and MVP-voter for Drake Maye ... may be looking for you.

Furthermore, I think the Rams, Seahawks, Niners, Bears, Eagles, and maybe even the Packers probably all beat New England...and Denver with a real QB.

Agree but it makes this year ... and last year ... very frustrating.

The 2024 Rams pushed Philadelphia to the Limit ... then the Eagles dominated Washington and K.C.
The 2025 Rams pushed Seattle to the Limit ... while the Seahawks dominated their two playoff opponents.

Of course, it's good to have some perspective ... both the Panthers and Bears pushed the Rams to the Limit.

I would not mind so much that Puka didnt win if it had been to CMC. Puka is at the very least JSNs equal in receiving, but head and shoulders above him all around.

I would have been more angry if 3ypc beat out Puka. JSN was a stud this year, not better than Puka, but tbh it was

1) Puka
2) JSN
3) Everybody else.

I don't think Maye is to blame for the mediots trying to use him like they did as an MVP alternative. It really falls on the mediots for not giving a flying fuck about the difference in strength of opponents in comparing the two of them. So this evolution is a nice lesson for them, in seeing the difference in Stafford and Maye in those two playoff games where they both played Seattle's defense.

Maye's a fine young QB. Cheatriots are lucky to have him. This playoff experience will teach him a ton.

Stafford threw for over 350 yards and 3 TDs in the last two games vs Seattle's defense and that was in Seattle. Give the Rams the Patriots schedule and he might have thrown for 60 TDs this year.
The Soul Stealer may throw for 50 -> 60 TDs next season. He did not get into true game day synchronization with Tae until the 2nd half of last season. It also took him a while to begin syncing with his TEs. If they add another big-bodied, speedy WR with legit hands as a high end third WR threat, watch out for falling NFL records!

Everybody is jumping all over 2nd year QB, Maye, for his play in the biggest game of his life thus far. I remember Maye the rookie playing the Horns in 2024, and I was really impressed at his poise for such a young 'un. I would have loved to have such a cool headed rookie QB as a backup to Matthew.

Maye will not have such an easy schedule in 2026, but I fully expect him to grow and mature even more by season's end.

He looked a lot like Sam Darnold does about 50% of the time. Serviceable QB with the right supporting cast but likely always middling. Tier 2 . No business being in the MVP conversation.

Just curious for those of you who are very active on social media (ROD is the most social media I use), have you seen any tweets from the 23 voters still supporting Maye or those admitting they were wrong?

There was not enough data to work with on Maye with only 2 years in the league.
Stafford did what he did over his career.
Plenty of time for Maye later on.

No most of what I've seen is them doubling down on how valuable he is to the team because the rest of them including his OC suck. His worst 3 games were the 3 post season games when he finally played against a competent D. Stafford has 10 turnovers in 13 career playoff games, Maye had 8 in 3 games this year.

Add to this Josh McDaniel was assistant coach of the year and completely got his ass handed to him.
So let me see if I got this straight... Mike Vrabel... Coach of the year. Josh Mcdaniel... Asst (OFFENSE) coach of the year. And Drake Maye... ALMOST MVP???

And Stafford barely won? LMFAO.
