And Austin's performance on the field never came close to that value. If there were a redraft of that class, where would Tavon get picked? Fourth round? Primarily for his PR skills? That puts his selection at #8 in the bust category.

We just have different definitions of a bust.
10 td season? Tough to call that guy a bust.

But, feel free. I'm over it.

You're right -- just a difference of opinion. No big deal. But I suspect we'd both agree that if we had it to do over again, we'd wait until round four, or three at best, to take him. So, I'd guess we're probably close in opinion on the player.

I could even have handled picking him in the second round where we picked Tutu since Tavon was such a good punt returned and was decent on jet sweeps for the most part.

10 TDs in one year is fairly decent for a second round pick.

I was really hoping they could have use Tutu this year on Jet Sweeps at least or fake jet sweeps.

McVay has really abandoned the Jet Sweep this year especially once Woods went out.

McVay abondoned the Jet Sweep this entire year! Way before Woods was injured.
I'm not sure if I can even remember seeing one this year.

Bailey wasn’t ever in Woods’ league. Not even close.
We'll never really know.
IMO Woods in Buffalo = Stedman in St. Louis.
Had he made it to the Goff / McVay era, then I think we'd know for sure.
Ever seen Stedman's WV tape? go watch it. Never seen a college tape of a WR that long. Usually those vids have a few TD's where the DB falls down or something & the WR is all alone to catch a TD. Not much of a "highlight" reel if you ask me.
But Stedman's... TD after TD where he makes contested, tight window, hands, every catch you can imagine. Kid had flypaper hands & an indefatigable spirit. Still tried to make a comeback with part of his skull missing. He's a Ram for Life to me.

I agree. He had some amazing plays in the Lou, and if he made it into McVay's team, he'd probably be a solid slot receiver/returner. I watched his West Virginia tape over and over, and I predicted that we'd draft him in the third round in my final 2013 mock, the exact selection. He and S-Jax are two what-ifs: what if Bailey lasted to LA, and what if S-Jax was in his prime with a McVay team?
