The fact that he mentions the text messages and has already released DMs in the past means that it's really unlikely to be a lie and it sends the message, "hey, do right by our guy or we'll release these to the NFLPA and the NFL and you'll really be up shit creek." And they would.

If this whole thing turns out to be Arians and maybe the FO being total douches... (imagine my SHOCK AND SURPRISE!!!), then wow.

Doesn't make AB any more palatable, but it sure makes more sense than AB just suddenly falling apart.

What got me was the injection, specifically a med that the NFLPA has outstanding warnings about. That could cause a real shitstorm.

Something tells me that this isn't nearly over...

I dunno if Issue 1 is even Issue one let alone debatable. More and more is coming out which seems to vindicate at least AB's telling of this and nothing matches up with what Arians was trying to spin. Couple that with AB having text messages (I 100% do not believe that's a bluff) and this feels like Martz all over again, except with a WR instead of the QB.

I'm sure Arians thought he could pull this shit because everyone thinks AB is unstable... and he in many ways probably is... but the dude kept receipts... which is something I'm sure Arians never considered.

AB wasn't a good person before his likely issues with CTE (we can definitively say he's had substantial brain trauma) and doesn't seem to have gotten nicer after.

That doesn't inherently make him a liar.

Also, he's either lucky or really savvy wrt the media. By going out like he did, he made it that much harder to bury his account. Had he just put his head down, stayed on the bench and walked away, no one would have believed his account... they'd have wondered why he acted so out of character.

I dunno. It's FAR easier to believe that Arians is a lying POS than after getting a bunch of catches since Godwin went out from Brady of all QBs that all of a sudden, AB just wanted to burn it all down. When one considers he got a second opinion on his ankle and basically was in surgery within a day or so leads me to believe that his injury was legit, Arians knew it and for whatever reason did a super shitty and maybe against the rules thing.

Doesn't make AB a good person or any less brain damaged. No need for any more of this "sides" thing. And I think we can all agree that Arians being a POS is legit, consistent and completely on brand.

You're right. I didn't go to school for a subject, so I'm not an expert, therefore I shouldn't have an opinion. I should just completely disregard prior anecdotes and clear signs of CTE and mental illness compared to previous examples of players in and out of the league. But those in this thread saying it's obviously not CTE or that it doesn't matter if it is or isn't and Brown is just a douchebag-- their opinion is fully valid and shouldn't be criticized.

But hey, here's a doctor (some might call an expert) with an opinion on what's going on with AB. Immediate comparison to Vincent Jackson and Phillip Adams. Like the video I posted, I'm sure that article will be ignored by people with their minds made up about AB and they'll just continue to punch down for some unknown reason. Please continue tho.

You’re missing my point. No matter how big a jerk Arians may be, there is no justification for the way AB left the field. Focusing on this alleged injury just comes across like you’re defending AB.

The only thing I can think of that would at least some what redeem Arians in my mind is the fact that Brown needed minimal more stats to unlock $1million in incentive steps in his contract per the below article. But the Bucs wanted to shut him down for season but Brown pleaded with Arians to let him keep playing so he was on the active roster over someone else and then decided he was too injured after the fact. Arians comes over and says get in the fucking game because that's what you begged for.

I don't think that absolves anyone of anything I'm just trying to connect some strings here. Afterall, Brown could have just aggravated it worse during the game which wouldn't give Arians any right to be mad really. But what a clusterF.... so glad it's blowing up in Kool-Aid mans face.

As noted in a tweet by Spotrac, Brown had needed eight more catches to unlock a $333,333 contract bonus, 55 more receiving yards to unlock another $333,333 bonus, and only one more receiving touchdown to unlock one more $333,333 bonus. All three bonuses would have amounted to $1 million.

You can disagree all you want, but you clearly don't understand how the world works.

I've dealt with this many times in my profession (I've been a labor and employment attorney for nearly 30 years). An employee has a legitimate beef with his or her employer (i.e. he or she, in good faith, believes that he or she has been subjected to unlawful discrimination). However, rather than addressing the matter in a civil manner, he or she lashes out by screaming at a supervisor, disrupting the workplace, etc. Employer then terminates the employee not for the reason behind the outburst (which might have been legitimate), but for the manner of expression (insubordination, disruption, etc.). Employee then alleges that the termination was discriminatory or retaliatory. Guess who wins under those facts.

Yea I mean, I'm not disagreeing on legal grounds. I'm disagreeing on moral grounds. I am sure lashing out doesn't help a legal case. More sure now that you said as much actually. But I wasn't talking about a legal case. I was talking about the public optics and the actual ethics over who was wrong. Bucs and Arians are most likely in a lot of trouble for this, and should be. Not legally, but I'm sure penalties from the league will happen if this gets looked into further.
