I asked Kevin Demoff for some help with the weekend.... .

I think its pretty baddass that you can reach out to Demoff , during Superbowl Week no less, and GET A REPLY.

come to think of it...just how did you get 3 tickets so fast, hmmm?

Where is this pre party thing happening and what is it exactly? I didn't get that with my tickets but I might want to check this out if it's worthwhile.

If you check out the Rams' site notes on the game the pre party is mentioned, and it was packaged in with our tickets as well as 4 nights at the "team hotel" i.e. the Hilton at the airport. The pre party includes shuttling to/fro which is a nice benefit too.

Re: doing the ROD meetup, Saturday looks like a good day to do it since everyone should be in town and Sunday will be insane. Anyone else willing to meet up on Saturday post it up and if we get some interested folks we can set up the time/place. And @Dog if you know the area really well and can suggest a good area downtown for us to do that it would be helpful too. (y)

There's a Fan Rally on Saturday.

And he also suggested checking out the NFL Media Center. I guess there are players from the past and present there along with celebs.

I haven't seen anything about a fan rally on Saturday. It's really hard to get information on what's going on, when you google those things you get inundated with all manner of commercial parties and whatnot.

Did he say where the rally is and when? Crap EDIT: posted link below. :p

It really is. He has always responded with a quickness too. He's like one of the guys.

I've thanked him profusely for his kindness.

LOL about the tickets... he definitely didn't help with those unfortunately.

Ok here's a really good site that lists the Centennial Park concerts and events hosted by the NFL:

https://www.atlantamagazine.com/new...mate-super-bowl-liii-atlanta-events-calendar/

Looks like that fan rally is Saturday there in the park at either 1pm or 3pm (doesn't specify which team is at which time).

Thanks for the correction.

Yes, NFL LIVE is at Centinial Olympic Park and not between the CNN Center and the Dome, as I first thought.

The NFL Experience is at The Georgia World Congress Center, which is basically one HUGE ASS building that houses CCN, The Omni Hotel, The State Farm Arena, several shops and restaraunts all connected to the World Congress Center, much like the dome in St Louis had a convention center connnected to it.

NFL Super Bowl Experience is a ticketed event taking place from Saturday, January 26 to Sunday, February 03, 2019 at the Georgia World Congress Center (Building B) in Atlanta, Georgia. The NFL experience is an annual family friendly event which takes place in the Super Bowl host city during the week leading up to Super Bowl.

I pulled this from @Merlin link ...I know we have a huge Jack Youngblood fan base.

City Tap
This new restaurant, located in the former Gordon Biersch in Midtown, is turning its grand opening celebration into a Super Bowl party. Doors open at 3, but if you want to amp the experience up a bit, you can buy $150 tickets that will grant you access to an open beer and wine bar along with unlimited sliders, nachos, hushpuppies, pizza, and other game-day snacks. Tickets will also give you the opportunity to hang out with football hall-of-famers such as Andre Reed, James Lofton, Bobby Bell, Jack Youngblood, and William Henderson. Reserve info.atlanta@citytap.com to inquire about tickets. 848 Peachtree Street Northeast

Edit- this is a SuperBowl watch party. Not a Pregame or Saturday Party.

Generally, I do NOT know the downtown area very well. What I do know is that most of the hot spots arent necessarily downtown, but rather are in Buckhead or Midtown which is just a few miles away from the Dome and the downtown area. The Hard Rock Cafe is downtown though, right across from the Westin. And I'm sure there are others. I havent had much time to research it much but I will. I'm assuming all we'd need is a sport bar type atmosphere, which is abundent all over the city. I believe theres a sportbar inside the CNN Center, which is small and will be crazy packed on Saturday for sure.

Speaking of the Westin....Its the tallest building in the city I think, and I highly recommend everyone take the time to got to the top of the Westin so you can take a picture with your loved ones, kinda like this one below. Im in the middle. Theres a bar up there and a real high priced restaraunt. Just tell them you wanna go up for a drink and you'll be allowed to go through. You dont actually need to buy a drink.

This picture was taken on the elevator heading up, it was an accidental classic. But once you get up there and walk all the way around, you'll get a 360 degree view of the entire city and you might want a photo with the top of the Dome and the Mercedes sign right behind you. It literally look right down on the dome.

These just arrived today. I'm driving up to the ATL so our dog can come along too. These will be flying the whole way up. I've got some of the NFC Champ car flags coming too, but they may not get here in time.

Yeah I'm sure a sports bar atmosphere would be best. How are the sports bars near the big park? If there's one down in that area it would serve well, since we could meet up before or after the fan rally. Only prob right now is I have no idea which one is ours but I suppose if I show up at the first one and it's for the Pats fans hilarity will ensue so it's all good. :p

Good thinking cause the Peachtree City police would profile his South Gawgia redneck ass, then we’d have a bail issue lol
No worries! I'm still to quick for that! I made it out of New Orleans didn't I? And besides, with a Gurley jersey on, I'll get a pass!!!!!

This bar here is by the park and where a lot of stuff will be going on. Any of you been there?

https://www.yelp.com/biz/park-bar-atlanta

Nice find Merlin, its certainly smack dab in the middle of everything. Right across the street from Super Bowl Live I see.

Looks comfy though. I'll have to bring us an iced down 12 pack to quench our thirst while we wait. Sure to be packed, but cant beat the location!
