I think I’ve settled in on my plans...

Chili cheese crockpot dip
ActiFry wings w/Sweet Baby Rays brown sugar
Brisket
Homemade sausages from local meat shop
And some veggie dip

There might be a beer or two laying around as well...:sneaky:

Use Sweet Baby Rays spicy for some of your wings. Oh mamma!

I am so different than you guys. I will eat nothing.
My wife might be here but she knows when to stay and when you leave. She pops her head in and looks at the score and makes her decision at that point.
Last week she popped her head in when it was 13-3 and I didn't see her again until the fieldgoal. Lol

Is there a magic potion to buy to handle wives? Me likie LMAO

Chilli Poutine?

I am certainly getting a jump on this and this thread is usually posted by others like @Dagonet

However I am curious about how everyone is planning their food for the big game.

Throughout the season I've been mixing and matching food with the teams we've played.

I made my first pot of Gumbo ever before last week's game.

We had surf and turf for the Cowboy game - Filet Mignon and Crab Legs.

I suggested maybe trying Clam Chowder for the Super "Bowl" and my wife suggested maybe going after an Atlanta based meal.

Then I had the idea of trying to do an authentic LA based street taco.

What to do!? What are you planning?

Good job brother. You fixings also sound damn good. Myself I keep it simple. Doing chili, lil smokies in a homemade sauce, wings, taco meat, and some cheese dip.. Not changing up much here as this has worked for us throughout the playoffs. Don't wanna jinx us. lol That said, I do have some deer salami this weekend.. Maybe I will be jinxing us.. lol Let us know what you decided..

We are having a couple of people over. We decided to do Mexican. I'm fixing chicken and shrimp quesadillas and enchiladas.

Pulled pork BBQ is what I'm bringing to the party .
Also to wash it down, the tall cool one, as Robert Plant would say.
Imported from Mexico, pure cane sugar

I've got roast chicken, roast potatoes, roasted vegetables and stuffing balls. Will make some chicken gravy to go with that. Then some crisps (chips), biscuits (cookies) and choc treats for the game later.

Kind of cool to start this thread early for the potential to share some recipes to shop and prepare before game day.

If you have anything you think others should try, post it up!

Agreed. I always have posted my threads late because of work. It's good to have this early so we can maybe share recipes. Kudos brother AJ.

The Wife has beat me to the punch and got jalapeño peppers little smokies and some other random snacks.

Cowboy fan buddy is bringing wings.

I guess my people got it covered.:yess:

Was gonna make crock pot chili to go with my Victory Chips, but I decided that I'd make Bacon Avocado Cheeseburgers instead.

got some nice rolls and avocados, got the nitrate free turkey bacon (can't really have anything else) and got 3lbs of prime and 2 lbs of 80/20 that I'll mix up for a nice blend.

Plus, I'll get to wear the Rams chef hat and apron I got for Christmas! Don't want to get grease on my Kupp jersey!!!

But for the game... VICTORY CHIPS AND SALSA!!!

I changed my mind and got fresh 'Za from Marcos Pizza. Got it now so I don't have to wait hours on end tonight.

I could have twelve pizzas and they'd be gone before kickoff...

that nervous eating would kick in BIG TIME for me which is why I'm trying to put off cooking for as long as possible.
