Didn't watch a lot of the game but when I flipped over Wentz looked like he struggled at times. They have a good line and some talent at RB but the Giants defense seemed to keep him from feeling comfortable.

Concerned about the new playing surface at Gillette Stadium, the NFLPA has asked the New England Patriots to repair what it believes to be a field that poses an injury risk to players, according to NFLPA assistant executive director George Atallah.

"It's a reminder to all teams that they can't have players on [shoddy] fields," Atallah said.

The NFLPA is expecting that the field, which was susceptible to having cleat marks left in the surface, was improved before Sunday's game against the visiting Texans.

The NFLPA recently sent its field inspector to Gillette Stadium to inspect the new playing surface, and found the field "borderline actionable."

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was flagged for penalties four times in last Sunday’s loss to the Titans and one of them led to a fine from the league.

Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reports that Sherman has been fined $12,154 for his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Sherman received the penalty when he took off his helmet to argue with officials after being flagged for both defensive holding and pass interference on the same first quarter play.

Safety Kam Chancellor‘s interception was negated as a result of the penalties and the Titans went on to drive for a field goal.

Sherman was penalized later in the game for a late hit on Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota. The hit sparked a brief scuffle and resulted in personal fouls on both sides, which meant the play was thrown out. Titans coach Mike Mularkey took issue with that this week, saying that he’d like to see a rule change that left the penalty against Sherman in place while the other calls offset.

How does he seem to skate past all the time?

I agree. That was almost as dumb as the rams having to start a drive on their 2 yard line after a skins player personally fouled a rams player during a kick return. Btw, why didn't the rams decline that penalty? Is it not allowed?
