I feel like this Jets out of no where thing is him wanting to go to a better team, but wanting said team to sweeten their offer a bit so he's going out to get a good quote form a team willing to spend more.

The way it looks to me is that Suh's process has 3 phases. In phase 1, he did his tour to determine which team he would most like to play for based on scheme, chance to win, whatever other factors were important to him.

When he was done, he stepped out of the picture for phase 2 and sent his agent to try to negotiate the best deal from these teams. It was his agent that brought in the Jets to try increase the offers he was getting. This isn't Suh choosing money over ring or anything like that, its just his agent doing his job.

Once his agent feels he has received the best offers he can get, Suh will sit down for phase 3 and compare the offers his agent got in phase 2 with what he himself learned in phase 1 on his tour and make a decision based on the combined weight of both.

Starting to doubt he is focused on winning and not money. I don't blame him NFL careers are short and those chartered private flights don't pay for themselves. If he doesn't take the Jets money outright he is using them to get more money from his preferred destination Rams or Titans because the Saints aren't on the same planet cap space wise. If he signs with the Jets its all about money because they are clearly the worst team in the bunch and arent beating the Pats no matter what they do and he should know that first hand.

At this point, I'll be just as happy with Hankins and Galette for the same price if not less.

I think Suh is shopping around to squeeze a few millions here and there. In the end it’s all about the money. If he wanted more, he should have visited the Niners. They have the most cap room available and will love to have Suh within the division. Suh would have squeezed them for every penny and more.
