Seeing Stafford live last year, he makes some throws that are just absurd.
Watching Cousins last year he certainly looked washed.

Both Stafford and Cousins make absurd throws, it's just the the definition of the word changes.

Stafford absurd: How the fuck can a human being make a throw like that??

Cousins absurd: How the fuck is this guy an NFL QB??

That is some ominous shit right there.

No bueno.
Exactly, could mean anything, such as:
1. Session went well and we're gonna ramp-up his workload getting him ready for week 1.
2. Taking it day by day, still hopeful for week 1.
3. Week to week, gameplan being installed for Jimmy, most likely the starter for week 1, stays on active roster. Game 2 hopeful.
4. IR, gone til week 5 and Sean says "we will rally behind Jimmy."
5. Stafford said "fuck this", told Sean he's outta here and rides off into the sunset and retires, says "I want to able to tie my own shoes in 5 years."

Any other speculations that I missed?

My guess is Stafford wasn’t feeling great and they cancelled the workout. And McVay will essentially say they are done putting timetables on his return and are just going to wait until he’s ready to go.

I still would expect him to be out there week 1.

Not true. Last week the workout went well and we didn’t hear about it until after the game.

I've been optimistic with this. Seen this preseason movie before with Stafford. Figured he'll be ready to go week one. But I'm not seeing a of optimism from the team so far. I'm starting to think the concerns are legit.

yeah, not sure what that means... never heard " a team official" make any meaningful announcements about someone like Stafford however.

Hopefully after last week saying he looked good and would practice monday, maybe they want to see how he feels after he wakes up.

Ok, color me concerned
Waiting until Monday sounds like a surgery announcement is incoming

Well, looks like Stetson will make the 53 man roster at this rate. And then you've got to get your stud quarterback in 2026.

Let’s be honest, if he threw and things went well, we would’ve
I hate this crap is going on but all we can do is root for those Horns and whoever laces em up, next man up and who knows maybe JG has a career year under coach. Go Rams! Fkit.

Here's a little more.

And no way in Hell am I trading future assets for ANY Quarterback out there. If Stafford is out for the season, so be it. Im not giving up a 2nd or 3rd or even 4th to acquire a Cousins or somebody else to go 9-8 instead of 7-10 and hurt my draft position by 7 spots. We roll with Garoppolo/Bennett whatever Stafford's situation is. Then we use 2026 and beyond Draft Capital this offseason to get our next FQ, be it in the Draft or youngish NFL Veteran.
