Take it with a Grain-of-Salt until confirmed by other sources but Stafford's contract numbers (restructured, revised, reworked ... whatever it is) have been posted on Over-The-Cap.
...
Again, these sites are solid but not 100%
Are you like, quoting yourself and telling yourself to be patient? LolLike I said ... patience with this stuff ...
Spotrac has updated and ... it has Different Numbers ...
There is 2025 cap-relief for the Rams but it's not as much as OTC's $8M-plus.
Spotrac has the Rams' cap-relief at just a little over $2M.
Maybe both sites are wrong.
Do the Refs run this site?Like I said ... patience with this stuff ...

OTC is generally faster when it comes to updating a team’s cap situation.Like I said ... patience with this stuff ...

Ramsey isnt going to take a pay cut to go back to LA, and at 31 he isnt worth the contract he has that pays him 18-20 millIF the Rams get Jalen Ramsey, wouldn't surprise me if he signs a new 3 year deal with 1 void year at the end.
If he is released he has no choice but to take a pay cut over the next few years. He isn't dumb. He knows where he stands now being on the wrong side of 30.Ramsey isnt going to take a pay cut to go back to LA, and at 31 he isnt worth the contract he has that pays him 18-20 mill
Stafford continues to impress.I figured his revised contract could still reduce the cap hit.
I'm sure that's what's being worked out. How much is Miami willing to eat. I'm sure the Rams would give more for them to eat some salary much like for Con Miller.Dolphins may not find a taker for Ramsey. There is no way I'd take his old, entitled ass with that salary. Dolphins if they're going to trade him need to eat part of that salary and then the team trading for him needs to appreciate him and project that they can handle his BS.
So yes if he is cut and comes over at a reasonable pay rate I would like to have him. Because he could be the difference between a late playoff loss and a title.
OTC has changed it's numbers from this morning; and now agrees with Spotrac's numbers.Like I said ... patience with this stuff ...

The new numbers reflect a 2025 cap hit to the Rams of $47.5M.
So that's 2025 cap-relief of $2.2M.
Leaving ... the Rams with about $20M of cap space
Or sign another solid young CB who is still a FA; Asante Samuel Jr. Shocked that he is still unsigned. Now they have lots of cap space to bring Ramsey back
Please noNow they can get the Kyren Williams extension done!

They usually come to a similar number after a few adjustments.OTC has changed it's numbers from this morning; and now agrees with Spotrac's numbers.
Stafford's cap hit to the Rams did decrease but not by $8M-plus. Rather by a little over $2M ($49.7 to $47.5).
Yeah - I don’t either. But they could eat a fair chunk instead of outright releasing him and picking up almost the entire tab if he decides he wants a ring instead of a big contract.I can't see Dolphins cutting Ramsey and eating all his cap hit.
