BooThat's a screen-shot from OTC from Wednesday morning. OTC was the first cap site to up-date for Stafford.
Later in the day, Spotrac up-dated with a higher 2025 cap hit off $47.5M.
Still later, OTC revised it's up-dated number to match Spotrac's $47.5M.
When they show his revised contract numbers I wonder if that includes bonus he's already been paid in '25? Or if that was on top. I believe he had a 7.5 mill bonus paid out beginning of the new league yearThat's a screen-shot from OTC from Wednesday morning. OTC was the first cap site to up-date for Stafford.

Could have been delayed by mutual agreement until the new deal was finalized. When they show his revised contract numbers I wonder if that includes bonus he's already been paid in '25? Or if that was on top. I believe he had a 7.5 mill bonus paid out beginning of the new league year
Once they show the new contract, the old details disappear (I aint paying for it lol)Could have been delayed by mutual agreement until the new deal was finalized.
They’re probably going to resign Stafford even if do go ahead and draft Manning next year.2027 - Staff has a dead cap hit of $14.4M. Not terrible, probably estimated at only 5% of total cap.
They could always resign #9 if no planning for Manning.
The 27 M was just a placeholder for stalled negotiations from the previous year. Stafford was never gonna play for 27M and both sides knew it.So he gets 44 mill instead of 27 mill, nice work if you can get it!!
Asante Samuel Jr's injury highly concerns me. He should have been signed long ago so him being available is such a huge red flag that I'd wanna pass on him.Or sign another solid young CB who is still a FA; Asante Samuel Jr. Shocked that he is still unsigned.
Please no
40 of which is guaranteed. 4 million has already been paidOnce they show the new contract, the old details disappear (I aint paying for it lol)
IIRC he was getting around 27 mill this year on the old deal, now he's getting 44 mill
That's taking care of your guy.
27 mill was the cash he was getting, but the annual value was 40 mill due to the previous bonus he was already paid. The 27 M was just a placeholder for stalled negotiations from the previous year

He was previously playing 2025 for 40 mill with 27 mill in cash.
Essentially with the new deal he’ll make an additional 17 mill in cash, basically paying him 57 mill including past payouts
He had 2 years and 58 mill left from his 4 year 160 mill contract. With signing bonus and front load he had made 102 mill. From an AAV perspective he was making 40 mill but he made a lot more than thatSince the beginning of the 22 season the Rams have given him $125m. So that's $41.7m per season.
Not sure what happened within those years but that's the cash value. So it's a slight bump up in salary.
