His ability to stay on the field is the biggest issue. He's an old 35. McVay absolutely loves the guy so he'll continue to ride with him. Best thing is to take the draft capitol next draft and get the QB of the future.

This. Stafford has always been inconsistent but ever since the sb he's been consistently avg to below avg. I've been waiting for him to pop off but it hasn't happen and now he can't stay healthy.

Why would the Colts trade their starting QB? They wouldn't. Its insane how many teams have and have had superior back up QB's to us for years. We essentially have a street FA as our back up every year, and every year they seem to need to play. When will Snead and McVay realize the obvious?

But there were no sails and no wind nor was there going to be in that game.

not sure... if you look up his INT rate vs top 20 all time QBS he is pretty similar.

Peyton manning had 2.7 % career int rate Staffard 2.5%

Before 2021 his highest int number in about 10 years was 13.

Do some of you read what you write before you post? Get a decent line, not the one that gave up a 60% pressure rate today, and Stafford will be fine. The line doesn’t even need to be as good as the Eagles or Lions, and we will win some games with Stafford.

Yea...he did that with a 2-1 td/int ratio. Now he's at a 1-1 ratio and that's just not acceptable for any qb much less Stafford.

Mahomes threw 2 interceptions and no touchdowns today and lost to the Broncos!
Stafford will have bad games, but I think he's still the best option for us at this time.
