NO he could give 2 S's about that and has said as much.

Would it be cool, sure, but it ainbt a big deaL.

New England has beaten ONE, ONE, ONE team with a winning record......ONE.

Maye is playing great but in a dumpy division heck even the AFC in general. If the pats were in the NFCW would he even be producing at the same level as Staff?

The public and media are already fawning over him like he's the next Brady. Yes, he's better than what college has been producing but shit give it a couple years.

Then there's Stafford... barely had any picks all year, throws 3 and now he's washed garbage. Even hearing it here with him missing a few throws but forgetting some of the ridiculous ones he's pulled off all year.

But to echo Merlin, SB matters way more to Staff than MVP.

Sorry man. But... Who. Thefuck. Cares.

All I care about is the Lombardi.
17 year vet who has mostly been on bad teams...mvp is one of those validating factors for HOF consideration

Sure lombardi matters more...but stafford seems like a great guy

"Who the fuck cares"

Yeah many will buy that line but its an emitional sales pitch.

Its a form of recieving validation for a life long battle.

Well there's really only one route it can go at this point .... he needs to not care (if he does anyway) and use the chip on his shoulder to raise hell in the playoffs.

The other option was to play better. A comeback last night would have sealed the MVP. The missed shot to #19 cost him that opportunity. Not much we can do about that at this point.

NFL needs hype. they have the future in May. Stafford is a good old qb. now he will not be in the hunt. move on to the playoffs. everybody's happy.

Stafford is winning the MVP. It was decided after the Tampa game. Fans just don’t understand how anything works.

For fuck sake he just threw for 450 yards and 3 TDs vs the Seahawks a week ago. I promise none of the voters give a fuck about a pointless Monday night game.

I hope you’re right my man. I have a few dbag pats fans in my life and I would love to shove it in their face that Maye got beat out by Stafford lol

Getting beat down with bad Oline play and forcing some questionable throws trying to make up for bad execution will do that.

Seems obvious they didn’t really care about winning that game.

I don’t want Drake to win over Stafford, Matthew deserves it.

But as shitty as it is to say it, The Patriots have a good QB again. Any other year that would be his trophy.

I really hope yesterday doesn’t affect Staffs chances, especially because it could potentially be his last game of the regular season.

Right now, Drake Maye appears to be good but does no one remember 2020 Deshaun Watson and where he is now?

His stats are just about as good if not better and I am not even sure MVP was seriously discussed with him being on a crummy team. Perhaps it was but that was many moons ago :D

This is his first serious starter year, teams will have tape on him next year and perhaps not as soft of a schedule. Future MVP perhaps for sure. Unless Stafford completely implodes there's almost no reason for it not to be him. I know I know stupid voters can happen.

I’m not so sure it’s a question of caring so much as it was an indictment on the “true depth” on the Rams roster.

They’re leaking oil while heading for the finish line.
A powerful run game isn’t as reliable when your two best OL are out. Humphries renewed the need to draft an OT early. He gave up some easy pressures/sacks that were putrid. Not having Adams in the lineup has shown the need for a bigger outside WR. Poor tackling and a tired pass rush is exposing the defense. They can’t get off the field when they need a stop and have suddenly become susceptible to the big play.

Bottoms line? The Rams roster is not as deep as we had thought and depending on it NOW?
…The Rams are in trouble if THIS is the playoff roster.
