All I can say is the Rams aren’t the defending champs had they had baker at the helm last season. Getting through the losing streak, the clutch 4th qtr comebacks? Nah. He’s just not there yet.
…Stafford probably wasn’t in his 3rd or 4th season either.

Those are douchebag fans - not a narrative. There was no narrative by any serious person that the Myles Garrett shit was ok.

Well I did say it was people loving it. Particularly Steeler haters. But it really goes back to my main statement there, where the Browns were the darling team, the "lovable losers that deserve a win", but Baker didn't get to be a part of it. Meanwhile a guy like Myles Garrett did something far worse in the NFL and all is forgiven. That's what I'm getting it.

And I don't really think there's a Wentz not making the playoffs narrative. Maybe it's out there. But more what I saw was that the Beagles wouldn't have made it there without the MVP level play of Wentz. Then when Folds won MVP and the SB, some of the Wentz fan girl aura wore off. Since then, it has been about him being available and when he has been, he just hasn't been very good. He is no Herbert.

He was the first dude I thought of. The bar these days is what you do in the playoffs (like how it was with MS). CW hadn't won a playoff game, and @ at the time hadn't declined yet. Now he's a bad (I don't think he's horrible) QB that couldn't win in January. Not his fault he got hurt. I'm not comparing QB play either.

I guess my whole point is that every QB has an "a la carte" narrative description of who he is. Which is BS. You (royal you) can't just pick and choose which QBs get a pass and others get grilled.

Yeah... I'm not really arguing with you. Just doing some nit picking.
