No, it's not. Not when you're reaching for 3rd/4th round quality in the 2nd, and 5th/6th in the 3rd, and so on. Being FORCED to sign an injury proned olinemen (albeit a good one) isn't either. You put yourself in these positions, then you spend years digging yourself out.

Wtf is this rookie RB going to run behind btw? I hope to Christ he's Barry Sanders reborn. Hopefully he makes an appearance before the 3rd game too, and is NFL ready.

We're still building for the future though, so it's alright.

I'm not overly concerned since it's the first game. But the D looks pretty bad, although vanilla.
The offense looked great the first drive and spotty after that.
That's why we have 4 games to get in sync.
