A great sixth man is a luxury but I think we can afford it given that we are only paying our RT. The rest of the starters are on min. deals. Likely that will change in that we will have to pay for a RG, but still we have the cap to pay for the luxury if Boom.

I dunno rams have let go of players with big cap hits over the past couple of seasons. And they were starters.

I think it will be different with Boom because we are no longer in a rebuilding phase.

Boom is purely gonna be about how much they can save. If they can get $15M or whatever was cited before then the smart call is to cut him loose and use that money on another OL. But if the net savings is negligible then of course you keep him because he is a valuable swing starter who can play all positions except center.
